i do agree the management is a little off but they had a glitch and Statefarm customers were being held accountable to pay a 200 dollar deposit karvin the rep was so nice patient and understanding he was trying so hard to help young ,man called everybody he could i left and the manger called me back the next day this was so smooth the guys did a amazing job and helping that's what im talking about team wok goes a long way Karvin keep up the good work you helped me have a ride for my children and i had no transportation you did great hertz give that man a raise

worst hertz experience we've ever had.this place needs to clean house and get people who actually care about helping others.I will never rent from another hertz again. they may be the cheapest rental and you truly get what you pay for.

Got my rental car fast and with no issues!Rosaville did a fabulous job - he displayed great customer service and was very helpful! I will definitely consider Hertz again in the future due to Rosaville’s excellent service today - thank you!

My experience at this branch was horrible. First a Manager by the name of Corae Coleman was very rude and highly unprofessional as a manager. He used foul language and was very sarcastic. He didn't even walk around the car with me to check for damages nor was I thanked for my business upon walk in nor drop off of the vehicle. The seats of the vehicle had multiple stains on it and scratches on car. To top it off I needed a ride home when I dropped off the car I had my two little children with me and needed a ride home Corae Coleman told me he didn't know how I was getting home when I asked what am I supposed to do. Horrible customer service. He also had multiple staff members that were working on this day that could have took me and my sons home. I only lived 5 minutes up the road. When I explained how close I lived to the branch he stated " I don't know how your getting home but I wont take you". The branch wasn't busy at all with no line outside. He also remained at his desk on his cell phone ignoring my requests. This branch is highly not recommended at all huge 0.

The manager is Awesome! This location shows that the staff works as a team to make the customer happy. So glad to announce... this will be my Go-To for my future rentals. Thanks for making my day with your professional service!

This place Is ridiculous, apparently theres a $500 fee for debit cards which I wasnt told till I got there and on top of that they didnt even have a car available and gave me a run around.They really need to better communicate with third party applications that promote there price/rates so everybody is on board.

I was involved in a car accident when someone ran a red light and hit me. that person has statefarm. statefarm covered the car repairs and car rental. I rented from Hertz in Mesquite. When renting the vehicle I was asked if I wanted insurance coverage and I told the person no. He asked me if I had full coverage from Geico I told him not sure but I believe so. He told me he needed my declaration page so he can use to send to Statefarm. I told him I would email him and left the property with the car rental. I emailed him the declaration page few days later. When I returned the car he did not give me receipt as he was waiting for statefarm to approve the charges. I then noticed one week later I was charged $302.38 on my credit card. I learned after that Karving Singh who works for Hertz had signed me up for insurance on the rental because he thought I did not have full coverage and state farm would cover it. State farm declined because I do have full coverage. now they will not return my phone calls and will not return my money. this is fraud at this point.

Stick with enterprise rental, at least they will pick you up and drop you off at no extra charge. Hertz wants to charge me 45 dollars just to drop me off at my house a couple of miles away. They also keep you on hold for 20 to 30 minutes at a time every time you call.

Update: I requested Hertz contact me regarding this issue using the automated system they use (replacing people for profit) and was told via the system that I would be counted within 24 hours. Week later, nothing.Horrible experience with Hertz again...(2nd time recently) I seriously don't even know why I am still a Hertz Gold member and why I still rent with Hertz. I tried to move heavin and earth to get this rental back by the Saturday 12 pm noon closing time but ended up 30 min late returning the vehicle. When I realized that I would be late and it would be after the 12pm return time, I started calling Hertz to either extend the rental or let them know and get further instructions. The automated phone system the make you go through wasn't working, and the prompt wouldn't connect me to anyone. Used another prompt to finally reach someone who told me to return it Monday at 8 a.m., which I did as it was my only option. After explaining the situation, the person said there would be a charge. There is no night drop box. The guy (kid) still charged me an extra almost $80. He and I both agreed that he gave no $hit$ about me or the customers. I rent vehicles all the time and will most likely just use the remainder of my points and screw off to use another car rental agency from now on. There are many issues with customer service (lack thereof) at Hertz. Profits over people every time. Just consider the vast amount of 1 star review for this place when you are looking for a rental car agency. They do not care about customers or provide customer service.

I rented and paid in full a Standard SUV thru Hertz with AAA. I needed a SUV big enough for 5 passengers and 4 bags. When I arrived, I was told about a deposit which is no problem but since I handed over my debit card, the employee advised me the deposit is $500. I paid the deposit. He told me to wait for my vehicle due to it being washed. About 20 minutes later, they brought me a very small SUV, which is not what I paid for. The employee did not want to deal with me at all. He said it was policy to give me a small SUV since my deposit was on my debit card. The vehicle was not big enough, not what I paid for and had stains all over the seats. Their definition of cleaning the vehicle is running it thru water. There was also dried up cement down the side of the vehicle. I was not instructed in anything on the vehicle. It was handed to me and employee walked away. We drove to the Ozarks and the vehicle did not have enough power to go up the hilly roads. Im so disappointed at the service I received from Hertz, especially being a rewards member. As much as I like to travel, I will have to figure out what rental company will be best from now on.

My recent encounter with Hertz Rental left me greatly disappointed due to the unprofessional behavior of Manager Corae. Despite Corae's role as a manager, his disrespectful conduct towards customers was both shocking and disheartening. Furthermore, the discovery of questionable pricing practices only added to my negative perception of the experience.When I arrived at the rental location, I expected a level of customer service that aligned with Hertz's reputation. Unfortunately, my interactions with Manager Corae were anything but professional. His dismissive tone, lack of patience, and outright disrespect made the entire interaction uncomfortable. It's disheartening to see a manager exhibit such behavior, as one would expect leadership figures to set a positive example. To think my company wanted to start an account.

I rented a car from this place due to some mechanical issues with my vehicle. Unfortunately I was in a hurry so I was relying upon the expertise of Hertz to make sure everything was done properly. Boy was that a mistake. After I got the car, it smelled like smoke and it permeated my clothes. You could tell they try to cover it up with some sad scented thing. Next a part of the car FELL OFF! Finally I took it back and luckily I believe a member of upper management was there who actually cared. But after he left, the manager didn't bother to ask if I wanted my original receipt (which had been adjusted). I needed it for my records. He was very unprofessional. Even with the credit to my bill, I won't be using this unprofessional company that lacks customer focus.

Horrible. Rental set up through insurance claim. Received numerous calls from hertz wanting to know date of pick up. Explained did not know as a bodyshop to repair damages had not been found. Received multi calls and explained over and over that I would callback once I had a specific date that car was going into the bodyshop. Fast forward...find bodyshop, make appt for drop off and call Hertz with information. Rep explained to me reservation was cancelled and that she would establish a new one. Rep provided confirmation number. Two days later received a call from Hertz (Brandon) advising he was calling to get a date established for rental pick up (message left via voicemail). Called specific location back, spoke with Brandon, explained that the information he was requesting was already provided to their reservation rep in customer service. He confirmed he saw it and all was okay. Show up on the allotted day and low and behold Brandon tells me there is no reservation. It was cancelled. I explained our conversation the previous week. He acknowleged I probably did speak with him. Offered no customer service in an attempt to remedy the matter except for me to call my insurance company and open a new rental claim. I left went to my insurance agents office and explained the matter at hand. Had a new rental claim set up, with Enterprise, and was in a car in a few hours. As a repeat client with the Gus Thomasson location I will never due business with them again

This is the best customer service I've experienced. The staff is always very helpful over the phone & in person.
