On 4/28/24, my Fiance and son bought me a charm double link bracelet and 3 charms in store as my birthday gift for April 30th. I was told to pick up my order on 4/29/24 after 3pm, but when I arrived after 6pm, my order was not ready. The employee said she would inform the manager and walked away. I expected to speak with the manager and at the most minimal receive an apology, but instead, the employee quickly returned with the bracelet completed in less than 4 minutes.I inquired if she had spoken to the manager, and she mentioned she would inform her immediately. She then walked two registers over and the manager, named Cindy, had been present the entire time. I explained the situation to her, she offered a brief apology and without even attempting to persuade me to keep my purchase it was as if it didn’t matter lets get this over with feeling. It was disappointing to receive such poor customer service from a well-known jewelry store like James Avery, known for its high-quality products.There are many other jewelry stores, such as Pandora, that offer charm bracelets, but I specifically chose James Avery and was left with a bittersweet 1st timer experience. I am usually really good at reading the reviews before I step foot anywhere and the first that i didn’t is when i really regret not doing so.

I can't believe after spending a ton of money with James Avery and asking if they charge to put the charms on and was told NO, only to bring my daughters braclet back for them to try to charge me to put the charms on. Shame on you as I've never had to pay to have the charms put on. Will be requesting a full refund

I went on a Monday to put on a charm on my bracelet & the girl told me she couldn't have it ready until Saturday after 3. Um. You need 5 days to put on a charm?

came to the mall at 10 waiting for james avery to open at 11am. two ladies walked up and unlocked the gate at 11:10 and then went inside without saying anything to waiting customers outside. and closed the gate back down without telling us to please wait or even saying anything. it appears one was waiting here on the other to unlock the door. the one who was late was laughing when she walked in and didn’t turn around after that. now they’re in the back gate closed 15mins after opening with no answers. smh my time is wasted i’m truly annoyed. you can see that windsor is open but JA is not.

Today I was very pleased and surprised with the exceptional service Cynthia provided! She was attentive and thorough in displaying the options I was looking for when I arrived. She did a good job of offering current promotions to increase revenue. While I opted out of the options offered, I strongly considered her suggestion. I seldom find satisfaction from customer service out in today’s markets, so this was certainly a pleasant surprise I have shared with others. I would strongly encourage the company to reward this young lady with a bonus or slight pay increase in recognition of her professional work and dedication! Thank you Cynthia!

We bought our oldest granddaughter a birthstone ring for her 16th birthday. It was too big and we had already inscribed it! But, one year later ( as it goes with busy teen lives) we were able to bring it back! They offered us 50% off her new ring if we traded it in but my husband and she picked a correctly sized same ring and inscribed it! I got to keep the first ring it's a lovely store and the staff were very understanding, friendly and helpful!!

I say 3 stars because the business alone is great, love their jewelry, but on the other hand me and my husband went in about a week ago and had to come back the next day to be resized because my hands were swollen the first day and they started to slip off the next. Both days ANNETTE (our cashier) acted like we were annoying her. We both tried being super nice and trying to not make her job harder but she continued to make faces and give us super rude and quiet responses like she didn't want to help us but dealing with other people she was so happy and smiling so we couldn't understand why we were being treated so poorly. I couldn't believe how disgusting she acted towards us and I will still be purchasing from time to time but I will definitely be asking for help from someone who isn't her.
