Love the new building. It feels nice walking in, but I wish there was more cat stuff. Dogs get over half of the building. Cats get like 3 short aisles in the corner with dog food encroaching it.
They have a nice variety of higher end cat foods which I love, but on the other hand they’re lacking affordable brands. I feed my indoor cats high quality when I can afford it, but I also have to feed my TNR ferals. I go through a lot of cat food. I need 16lb or bigger bags. Unfortunately they only carry the more expensive stuff in 16lbs. The cheapest big bag I found was $32 on sale. You can get more for less at many other places. I always end up frustrated when I go to Petco for big bags of food. I don’t know why I keep doing it to myself. I end up just buying my indoor cat food there and having to make another stop somewhere else for my feral food.
That’s my only beef with Petco. Needs more cat love.

I took my very nervous Chihuahua to get his nails trimmed at our local Petco. I had tried to trim them myself but Vincent was so scared that I could only trim a nail or two. I tried another grooming shop (privately owned) in the area, but that guy was not a nice person and I didn’t trust him with my baby.
The lady groomer at Petco did a great job on Vincent’s nails and she told me that he was very calm for her. I was extremely impressed and grateful to her for taking such great care of my baby and his nails look great! We will definitely be back.

Although this location is small, it does have lots of stuff that the competition does not. There are also 2 giant tubs tou can pay $20 and wash & dry your dog there. Also included is the wash, shampoo and conditioner. Much nicer then the tub at home!
