Super kind group of people working here. I happened to visit this location twice within four days due to my bad luck with rocks and my windshield. They got me a new windshield with ease and fixed the crack that came a couple days later with no problem.Highly recommend this shop!

Been here several times over the years, and although the employees are always friendly, the quality of the work seems to be getting worse and worse. Seeing a small noticeable deformation where the Crack once was is not unusual, but the past two times, the noticability of the defect "after repair" appears as if they did NOTHING... except say... if it cracks further its guaranteed. It's horribly noticable...it's distracting, and it's the reason I wanted it fixed... this picture is what they call "repaired".... not ! If my insurance had not covered this I would have refused to pay for this. I complained to my insurance company and they agreed...Response to Owner rebuttal:Your bebuttal mentioned several things, and I'm actually more offended now by you than I was originally.1."No way to determine how the already damaged glass will react to the repair process"You are supposed to be experts in glass repair having repaired probably 10's of Thousands of windshields. You do an inital inspection of the damage presented to you, and then you say "Yes I can fix that". How can you now say you have "No way to deterine", if you truly don't, then you should tell us that when we bring you our business.2. "Our chip repairs are done to preserve the structural integrity of the glass and not for cosmetic purposes"It is after all the "cosmetic defect in the broken glass that we first see that tells us the owners that we have a broken windshield", it is understandable and you are up front about the "possibility" that there might be minor noticable points where the repair has been done, but in this case your technician said...I can fix that, and later "it filled in completely". Neither are true! It is not possible that if you did not fill in the cracks that you can say this is repaired.3. "If the repair fails i.e. Starts to crack further of is not visibly pleasing ... ".Upon my first inspection of this windshield and after being told "it filled in completeley" it was obvious to me that it had not filled in "AT ALL". This was not a Minor Noticable defect, this was no better than I brought it to you. Yet you claimed it was not just repaired, but filled in completely. Again, not true.4. "Money back guarentee where we will credit the cost of the repair toward the replacement of a new windshield"...Now this is the part that upsets me the most. If you have all of this experience repairing windshilds, there must be times, such as this one, where your experience or your inspection of the work that failed after a repair attempt tells you "well this must be one of those times it just isn't going to work". You never said this to me, you just guaranteed a repair that had not be done, and your employees didn't just falsely say it was repaired and filled in completely; but when i went back inside to have the manager come outside to inspect and verify what was obviously not repaired, and I voiced my dissatisfaction and scepticism of any repair having even been done, I was STILL CHARGED, but then offered the guarantee you mentioned above "Minus the part about if I was dissatisfied"... Hmmmm??? You offer a guarantee that benefits only you. If it breaks further, your guarantee guarantees "YOU" will profit by being the customers only option for a refund by having only you replace the entire windshield "at our deductable".If it's obvious both to you and your customer that in your opinion or experience this repair "did not take", then don't charge the customer and at least allow him to go elsewhere for the repair or replacement if necessary.

I brought my 99 Astro Van here to get my front windshield replaced about a year ago. It had 5 chip's in the glass due to hiway debris hitting it. None of which created a hole through the glass. The main reason for my visit was the fact that the intense heat, cold and age has caused the windshield molding to become deteriorated and caused the windshield to become unseated and sealed. The service representative told me that there was probably rust and corrosion in the mounting area. Also that there is no way of getting a windshield to replace mine without having it customized to fit my van. This would cost me about $4,000.00 and 3 day's shop time if they were interested in doing the work.I just got back from Cedar Rapids, Iowa where I found ABC Auto Glass in Marion, Iowa. They inspected the job and determined that there was no rust or deterioration of the mounting area. They installed a brand new windshield and new high quality wipers to protect the new glass. They did the whole job in a day and it only cost $349.98. They did a quality job and did not have a problem with the fact that my van was 24 year's old.My take away from my experience with Safelite is that if you have a vehicle older then 5 year's, they are not interested in servicing you windshield issue's.What a sorry policy for a service company. I would not allow Safelite to install a flea collar on my cat much less do any glass work for me again on my van or my new Jaguar.

Im happy and unhappy to see everyone here. Unhappy because something is broken, but happy because I know I’m going to get exceptional 5 star service. They complete my windshield work with lightning speed. You can definitely sit and wait because they work really fast! I’ll continue to bring my personal, my business, and my government issues vehicle here for service.

Great service. And this is the key part of my review- I'll explain.Went to location for a glass replacement and due to a last minute switch of a scratched piece of glass ( I can only assume ) the glass did not have the HUD ( head up display that reflects on the windshield ) coating required for a clean view of the HUD ( Ghosting and distortion with non-HUD approved glass. )I called to have the correct glass installed and immediately saw the error, and sent a replacement tech with the new windshield directly to me with no extra onsite charge. To me, these days, just expected honest and good service seems rare- so thank you Safelite for being a quality company with all the folks involved being helpful and good to work with!

Terrible service waiting 9 hours for no show at my home no call. Very hard to get live communication. When I did it was wrong. It's a shame insurance companies are in bed with this company when there's many glass places that are way superior in service!!

Monday , I drove up to a Safelite open bay and spoke with a most understanding gentleman. I told him it had been less than about two months since they repaired my front glass. ( Excellent work was done. My son had taken it in for me. He has since passed away.) I got a chip within the first two days after the new glass. I asked them about a repair and how long. They were so kind and professional. They had me come inside where I met others that served me coffee and chose to sit and talk with me out of kindness. I was in and out in under an hour but I must say I was truly blessed by these Christmas Angels. Thank-you to Dawson,Tina,Maria and the entire Safelite Team in Mesquite. I truly have faith and believe that BLESSINGS FLOW….

I’d like to give this place 0 stars, but the lowest it will allow is 1. This is the absolute worst location in the metroplex. The service on my car & the customer service were both terrible and unacceptable. I had a chip in my windshield, so I set an appointment for a technician to come to my job to repair it. During the appointment, he spread the crack even further. So, the crack looked worse after he left than before he started. I wish I would’ve never even made the appointment. This was my first inconvenience. However, I decided to just replace the entire windshield. I took time off from work and set another appointment with the same Mesquite location. Instead of them coming to my job, I came to their shop. They applied a new windshield. But when I left, I noticed a noise in my car. It sounded like wind whistling. I didn’t hear the noise prior to them replacing the windshield, so I drove it back to the mesquite location. This was my second inconvenience because I live near Ellis County, so it was a waste of gas money & time to go back mesquite especially since it was during rush hour. But, I had no choice since I had to catch them before the end of the business day. When I arrived, I requested that a technician ride in the car with me, so they could hear the noise. One of them rode with me, and he was able to hear it. He spoke with his technicians & manager, and they determined that the trim needed to replaced & wasn’t installed properly. They also said there was another part they needed as well, and for all of that to be fixed, I had to make another appointment and bring the car back to mesquite. This was my third inconvenience. I took time off from work AGAIN and made ANOTHER appointment AGAIN. I arrived at the Mesquite location and gave them my keys. I went across the street to get something to eat. Not even 10 minutes after I left the shop, they called me to tell me they won’t be able to replace the windshield again. They said they ordered the wrong parts. Apparently, they ordered parts for the sides of the windshield as opposed to the top/bottom. They instructed me to make ANOTHER appointment and come back after they get the new parts in. At this point, I’m beyond frustrated and in complete disbelief. Although I expressed my concerns to the manager, Tina, she did not help me at all. I requested that they provide me with some form of credit or compensation for having to come to the store 4 times. First, she said the most they’d be able to offer me is free windshield wipers, but no compensation. I told her I was not satisfied with that. She then said she could speak with her higher ups to determine if they could send me a check. I requested that she contact me before my next appointment to give me an update on the resolution. I never received a call from her. I showed up to my next appointment and asked her for an update. They finally installed the windshield, and I heard no wind noises. However, I was still unsatisfied because of the time, gas and money I wasted by having to drive up there so often due to their carelessness. Furthermore, my rearview mirror was making a rattling noise, so I took it to my car dealership, and they told me that it wasn’t reinstalled properly. So, that’s why I’m hearing a noise. Eventually, that’s something else I’ll have to pay to get fixed or reinstalled again. Additionally, the manager, Tina told me her higher ups responded to her & would contact me, but I never received any communication or form of payment from them. I was lied to and truly inconvenienced. I will never visit this location again, and I don’t recommend it to anyone.

Cracked within 2 weeks of getting a replacement at this shop and it cracked overnight when the temperatures dropped. I got denied the lifetime warranty because they want to claim the crack is caused by impact. Not true.

Quite the runaround in dealing with the glass company. In the end we had to go to the manufacturer because there was a recalibration needed for the camera system and I guess safelight doesn’t do these… or they do, depending on what representative you talk to. Don’t think you can talk to a local office, because you can’t. And mobile repairs aren’t as comprehensive as shop repairs… or they are, depending on who you talk to. So much conflicting info and wasted time.
