Customer service provided by Val was amazing. She was very knowledgeable about products and assisted my daughter with such patience in finding the right products. She was a doll; I couldn’t thank her enough.

I don’t know what else I expected from the Mesquite location or Sephora in general, but the in-store customer experience is in need of some improvement. I’m not the only one who’s had this experience at this store too. Staff is unhelpful. They possess an aura to them that they don’t want to be bothered when customers ask them for any kind of assistance. It’s kinda disappointing, because in locations like Northpark or Galleria, staff is ready to assist with a welcoming attitude. That attitude is what makes customers want to make more purchases. The longer you can keep a customer in-store the more sales can be generated. And you can’t blame this on the area either. If you hire people who want to excel in customer service, relationships would be made! To add on, store displays are abysmal. Any product I wanted to try they were dried out, broken, unsharpened or in the wrong area. As a customer, this made me turn away from potential brands and so I ended up going to Ulta. (which isn’t a great upgrade either, but I digress) And to end off my visit, the staff that checked me out had tossed me the bag of purchases I just made and immediately went back to stocking/organizing merchandise. 🙃 Honestly? It made me feel so bad. One, I don’t know you. And you don’t even know me! To take on a demeanor such as that on a stranger where it was unwarranted, leaves an unfavorable impression of not only the employee, but the whole team, management and store. Word-of-mouth marketing is very commonplace now in this digital world; please be aware of this.
I’d only recommend this location if you have to have something immediately. Other than that, don’t expect a warm welcome, haha.

I’ve been a regular Sephora customer for years, but my recent experience with their return policy has left me extremely disappointed. Sephora allows returns within 30 days, but if you’re even a day over, they won’t take it back. I was just three days past the return window with an unused, unopened product, and they still refused to process the return.
I understand the need for policies, but the lack of flexibility or willingness to consider circumstances was frustrating. There was no store credit offered, no courtesy exception, just a flat “no.”
For a company that markets itself as customer-focused, this kind of rigid policy feels out of touch. Because of this experience, I’ve decided I won’t be shopping at Sephora anymore. There are plenty of other beauty retailers who offer better customer service and a bit more understanding.

The worst. Unfriendly staff felt harassed as they followed me around everywhere asking me twice a minute if I needed assistance. Noticed they didn’t do this to anyone else. Rude at check out just unacceptable service all around.

A smaller location inside Kohl's but still has a great variety of things. Just like an actual store, they are fully stocked and great customer service. Don't go with teenagers. Lol. They will blow a hole in your pocket. There's something for everyone. Men and women. Great cologne selection as well.

Wasn’t even acknowledged by staff. I went in the evening and there were two staff members there not helping anyone else. I went to actually buy makeup. I was a little put off by the lack of customer service but decided to try and find the stuff I was shopping for myself. I ended up not buying anything just because their stock is disorganized and collecting dusty. Really disappointed.
