I have been coming here for years getting my French manicure and sometimes pedicures too. Ann is AMAZING and does a wonderful, flawless job every time! If she is out, I use her other half, Harris, who can do MEAN designs‼️ Nicole is the owner, and I’ve never met anyone who not only remembers everyone’s names but also all their business (in a good way ☺️). It only took me one trip here to get hooked and make it my fave 🥰💯‼️. If you live anywhere within Dallas county (maybe east of that too), i promise it’s worth the trip…you won’t be disappointed 💕💕💕. And as you read all the negative comments below, just remember…if you are not happy with the service you receive, respectfully speak to Nicole or whoever provided your services and explain why you are unhappy and what you need to make it right. I’ve had to do that twice (it had nothing to do with the ladies who did my manicures, just one nail once and the color on a different occurrence,) and I had no problem whatsoever getting my issues resolved for free both times! They are awesome people!

poor service. just soak your feet into a hot water and scrub. removed the dry skin and that’s it. POOR!!! VERY POOR SERVICE!

I’ve been coming to Star Nail 8 for over 10 years, and I never thought I’d leave feeling so disappointed. During my most recent visit, I had a simple question about the pricing and asked Nicole, the owner, to break it down for me. Instead of addressing my concern, she refused to acknowledge me or even engage in a basic conversation.
Even more upsetting, the health of my nails was completely disregarded. After so many years of trust and loyalty, I expected better care and attention — not just for how my nails look, but for their overall condition and health.
I wasn’t being difficult — just trying to understand what I was being charged for and to make sure my concerns were heard. The way I was dismissed left me feeling undervalued and disrespected.
Unfortunately, after this experience, I will not be returning — and I encourage others to think twice before spending their money here.

Absolutely love this place! Very welcoming, great atmosphere and they do a phenomenal job that's fairly priced. I'm now a regular here and can't see myself going anyplace else!

Sandy was a life saver!! She stayed way after closing to fit me in last minute. Shaping was perfect and she was done within the hour. 5 stars!!

Ana & Harrison did my nails today. First time going here and i was impressed. I am super picky when it comes to my nails and the shape, and they did not disappoint! Will def be coming back

This is a good place to get a quick manicure or pedicure. They did a quick job and my toe nails came out nicely. It is a very small space and was quite tight. Trying to walk around in it with the employees and customers was a little stressful for me. The building itself also really needs upgrading. If you don't care about having that spa experience, this is a good place to get your digits done.

The eyebrow lady basically told me she couldn’t do my eyebrows. Why are you even the lady for eyebrows if you don’t know what you’re doing? Don’t waste your time.

I went a week ago to get a pedicure and the lady that gave me pedicure act like she is in a rush. I get ingrown toe. And she said she got it out, it is still hurting. I did really like this place they made you feel welcome. But I am having second thoughts.

Went in for a pedi and full set and a full set for my 9-year-old. $137
Gave 2 stars because They were super welcoming, but I disliked that the lady that did my daughters nail didn't listen to what I asked for her. I said, very short, natural looking nails clear glitter and not what she got. And as for my full set, I didn't like the way my nails looked very bulky and rounded. I had asked for almond, natural and thin. Now the pedi was the worst it was an old lady I understand, but she didn't rob my feet good. Her hands felt like she was barely touching my feet. Never coming back

First time here! I really loved how Ann and Anna (I believe I got their names right lol I apologize if I did not) They did my nails and pedicure, in a lot of places they don’t like to do short nails and Ann did such a great Job! I just recently moved to Mesquite and I was looking for a new nail salon and I’m so glad I found this place! They highly recommend to make an appointment first so you don’t have to wait, so just give them a call before you go, just to make sure you don’t have to wait for to long! I’ll be back in really soon and support their business.
