Pretty much like everyone else’s experience. Worthless pharmacy!
1 of 2 things should happen when an RX is sent over.
1. Fill it and call patient
2. Call patient and verify they want the RX.
NEVER, just ignore it and not do anything, much less get an attitude when a patient calls and asks if it’s ready. Stating well you didn’t call to tell us you want it…. Excuse me… I’m sorry…. You’re the pharmacy, you got my RX

Was told to be here at 10:30 for shots it’s 1055 and I’m still waiting and after waiting 30 minutes then they wanna come ask my wife for her insurance…. Yes, I’ll be waiting another 30 minutes now…… Very slow, slowest pharmacy you’ll ever be at. Oh, and I forgot to mention the fact that we called up here to make sure that we could come up here and do a walk-in and we were on hold for 20 minutes. Getting a single shot and a flu shot today has really been a beat down. We’re here because Walmart wanted us to jump through hoops to get our shots. Customer Service is really a thing of the past.

Worst customer service in the world, i had submitted a prescription the day prior and didn't go to pick it up till 6:15pm the next day. They hadn't even tried to start filling my prescriptions. The service here is literally the slowest, most unreliable service i have ever had in my life. If you want good service and to actually get your prescriptions when they're supposed to be ready go to the CVS about half a mile up the road. I am going to be calling corporate on this pharmacy its unacceptable. The head pharmacist is really rude too and doesn't care about the customers at all, it was obvious.

The staff was not friendly at all. No eye contact or acknowledgement. Drive through staff was even worse.

I love Tom Thumb pharmacy in Dallas on Live Oak.
I have moved to Seagoville.
This location is dirty, with employee's that could care less.
Tom Thumb is losing my business after years of great service elsewhere.
That's alot of money walking down the street.
I am positive they can care less.

My meds are never on time which causes me to make two trips from over an hour and a way to pick up my scripts. It’s an unconvinced. Gayla is the only helpful one.

The worst service I have ever had! Everytime I have prescription sent over from my doctor they say they never got it, I know it’s not my doctor because it happens everytime. Then when I get my prescription sent over a second time they receive it, and I ask when it will be ready and they say they don’t know!?! I’m sorry, what? That’s horrible customer service, if not ready in 30mins - 2hrs maybe tomorrow, just I don’t know… unacceptable. I usually have to wait a week on any prescription I have called in. Which is insane. Then I come in to pick up my prescription, because the drive thru is permanently never open, the pharmacist is on speaker phone with a personal phone call… doesn’t acknowledge I’m even standing there.

I am beyond furious with the utterly deplorable service at Tom Thumb pharmacy on 05/06/2025. My wife went to pick up a critical prescription for our severely ill son, only to be met with incompetence and indifference. The prescription was supposedly transferred from Capsule, but the staff claimed they never received it. My wife got on the phone with Capsule, who confirmed they sent it via fax and even attempted to call Tom Thumb three times to resolve the issue. The employee working between 6:00 PM and 7:00 PM had the audacity to repeatedly deny the phone was ringing, despite Capsule actively trying to reach them.
To make matters worse, the drive-thru was inexplicably closed during operational hours. The night manager told us they’ve never seen the pharmacy close their drive-thru window in 30 years! We weren’t alone in our frustration—10 other customers were also complaining about the abysmal service and ended up leaving in disgust. We spent the entire day trying to contact this pharmacy, desperate to get our son’s medication, and were met with nothing but excuses and unhelpful behavior. In the end, we had to take the prescription across the street to CVS, who answered their phone on the first try and handled everything promptly. This isn’t the first time we’ve dealt with this kind of negligence at Tom Thumb pharmacy, but it’s the last straw. The complete lack of professionalism and care for a sick child’s urgent needs is unacceptable. They need to replace the staff running this circus immediately. Avoid this pharmacy at all costs—they clearly don’t care about their customers or their health.

Sweet staff, but very slow. I called at 2pm to make sure we wouldn't be waiting for 30 minutes. They said it'd be ready in an hour, so 3pm. I get there an hour and 50 minutes later and they're still having me wait another 30 mins and they don't have the medication in stock. Didn't communicate that in the last two hours.
