I been with Woodforest national Bank for a long time and I never ever had not one problem with them and I like them because they are always open when the other banks close keep up the great work ❤️

If you have plenty of time and don't mind waiting in line. The Woodforest National Bank inside the neighborhood Walmart on Town East Blvd. Is for you. The customer service is very slow, they enjoy chatting with each other more than helping customers. It states they open at 9am weekdays, later on weekends. But they usually aren't ready to cash checks, make deposits or anything else for about 45 mins. as the employees do not arrive and start getting things going until they are open...

Easy to work with but the task I needed done took longer than I had thought it would. I give 3 starts for friendliness and not 5 for the how long it took. Do with that what you want.

I see why a majority of the reviews are so low. I’ve been depositing my tenants checks into this account for the mortgage for over a year and today since there was an error on the check I was told I couldn’t fix it, I had to go get my tenant (who’s my father) to correct the error. Luckily he only lives behind the store, I go get him to fix it and bring it back in a matter of 10-15 minutes only to be told since it’s not in blue ink they can’t deposit it. I drive 1 hr each month out of my way to come to this bank to make my deposit but I will most definitely be closing this account due to the inconvenience that was caused today. In the future make sure your ENTIRE STAFF is on the same page before you send somebody around on a wild goose chase.

Wow !! I'm old school and didn't know how to set up certain things thru app. And the Woodforest National Bank took time out patiently and walked me through each step.I've been banking here for many years and the Hospitality of Service has been consistent month in and month out. Thanks !!

I have been a customer for over 20 years and have had direct deposit in this institution from day 1. I have over 20 years experience in the financial industry with Woodforest starting that career for me and 15 of those years in management. I spent my Saturday holiday going from one branch to another sitting and waiting for someone to make a well educated decision even 3 managers couldn’t come up with a well educated decision. I was even told one thing at one branch and then an even worse uneducated decision by the manager at the other. They treated me as if I was a criminal that couldn’t be trusted and had attitudes because they took the situation personally as if they had to be defensive instead of understanding and empathetic and listening to understand instead of to respond. I felt as if I was trying to educate them on making the appropriate decision. I felt unvalued and unappreciated as a very loyal and long term customer. It was very disappointing to say the least. The managers and other employees need more training on making good sound decisions while evaluating all factors and not getting hung up on only one factor and on empathy or is that not taught in the banking industry? When I left Woodforest over 15 years ago I went into the Credit Union world and education is big in our world not only for our employees but the communities we serve. I’m really hoping they follow through with what they were going to do Monday but honestly I have no trust that this will be handled appropriately.

I don't know why all the comments are so negative. I opened my account here several years ago now and came in on 10/5 to get help with fraudulent charges and getting back into my online banking. Quazi helped me and I can say I am glad I drove back to the branch I opened my account. Fast and friendly. Maybe people who have left the bad reviews just came by at a bad time. Honestly I'm glad to be banking with Wood Forest and even though I moved a little ways from Mesquite I am happy to still make the drive to do my banking.They also made sure all my information was up to date and in order. Thank you for making what could have been a big headache for me a quick and painless process. Will continue visiting your branch! Great staff.

I've never seen a group of women gossiping about there whole life story of course I was in a self checkout and they were talking about everything that had nothing to do with banking when a customer came they finally got back behind the desk like they were working very tacky

It seems this bank is going down hill. In October my husband deposited a check that they put in someone else's account, not ours. Today they cashed a mortgage check that I paid a stop payment for last Friday with Veronica.. They're fixing the problem, but in the meantime, I can't touch my account for ten days! No food, gas, prescriptions!!!! I can't express how distraught I am over all of this. My husband and I may have to find another bank. I've been here with this one since it was built! It's a shame! It used to be a really good bank with competent employees.

They look talk and treat you like your a criminal through the whole visit. I don't know what there problems are. I've been there 3 times to make deposits and withdraws it was the same over the course of a year. I'll find a new location from now on!
