“Long post. Not sorry. Ryan at your store 5821 in Midland, Texas is amazing. As a wife of a shade tree mechanic that wants nothing to do with technology, my life is well…interesting. Ryan was able to help with parts needed for a resto hubby is working on. He had the resources, knowledge, patience, recommendations and any other amazing thing that can be said, including tips and tricks that only experience can bring. Also, kudos to his parents for raising such an incredible person. He assured my husband and saved me a lot of research on a motor and modification that is quite complicated and he didn’t even flinch. That is incredibly, dare I say almost impossible in today’s world. Attention Advance Auto Parts: he is more than an asset to your company and I hope he gets the recognition for the immeasurable value he lends to your company and customers. I’m gonna go with he’s underpaid. It was a wonderful experience to witness that caliber of customer service. “A little uppity about a phone call that was received. Even though I already paid for the part the counter person told me to take the call outside when it was less than 15 seconds I was on the phone. Point is they already got their money and didn't care about the customer. They may have had the right part and been in Midland but the youngsters that are running the counter now have no respect. I'm disappointed. Would they tell me take it outside if I was trying to get clarification for a part before buying it? I think not. By the way I was the only customer in the store at the time. I guess they're playing games on their computers and stuff is more important to them. This is why I'm dissatisfied. Hopefully in the future they'll work on it.”
