Most Dollar General stores aren’t great, but I recommend avoiding this one in particular. It’s always messy, rarely stocked, and often closes early — they lock the doors about 15 minutes before posted closing time. You’re better off going to the new Family Dollar across the street (store 349).

I tought it’s was convenient for me to go to the store because I live so close by it. However they open at 8am but nobody there to open the doors for customers. Some customers have to be at work, or have kids to take to school and might need a quick snack. The store manager there is inconsiderate. This has been an occurrence thing and I don’t like it. If they can’t open at 8am change the store hours to 9. Stop deceiving customers.

As of 11/4/24 this DG is a different store with the new manager her names start with a T. She has turned around the store place is phenomenal compared to what it was

Typically has what we are needing in a pinch and staff has been pleasant the VERY few times I've interacted with them.The bad; the store is usually trashed and disorganized like most DGs, but there are times it's at a whole other level.The worst; to the side of the store and behind the store is a big representation of the management and regional management styles. There are mounds of trash everywhere that is freely blowing into nearby landscaping and neighboring homes. It's absolutely horrendous how bad the mess is, and more closely resembles a landfill than it does a retention pond for the area. It's easy to blame the neighboring homes and rouge dumpers until you realize the biggest mess is directly from DG itself.EDIT: A month later, absolutely everything is in the exact same condition as it was/has happen for the better part of a year.

be aware of prices Manager won’t change price as advertised with the long hair. Took a picture of some toothpaste I was ringing up four dollars wrong price advertise as 2$ two dollars would not change price. These guys are scamming customers on prices.

This place should be shut down!! I was there yesterday Sunday September 24th 2023 the stench was awful. As I approached the check out line there were carts full of garbage bags and one full of rotting food and both were leaking foul smelling yuck. There were 3 people that I assume were employees doing absolutely nothing. Just about 6 months ago it wasn't that bad but getting there. I would be embarrassed if I owned something like that. What the hell happened to pride of ownership and work ethics. I am pretty sure that the health department would love to see these pictures. Please stay far away from that disgusting place.

Just go across the street to Family Dollar! I loved this DG when it first opened up in our neighborhood!! Now, it is a total and complete mess! It’s filthy! Employees horse around and play tag (or whatever game that is) while customers wait and wait and wait. I cannot even begin to describe how many isles you cannot even TRY to walk down because of the ridiculous number of stock carts!! Customers are digging through boxes to find items that aren’t being placed on shelves. But, at least the employees are having fun hitting each other and cussing each other, in front of children, while they fight over the store’s keys!Just go to Family Dollar or go back into town to HEB.

This store has the rudest employees not to mention the laziest. Girl at the cash register was on her phone and told me to check out myself on another machine, I told her if I wanted to check out on that machine I would have went to it I left everything at the counter I'll go to a store that has decent workers and not Dollar General
