Every time we go into this store, there’s one guy working alone at the register while there’s a line all the way to the door. The two girls also on shift constantly sit in the back everytime we come in, watching him struggle to get through the line and won’t help. The guy always smiles and is so kind, but the other two just sitting there talking ruins it every time. Maybe management needs to look into who’s actually working and who’s just running time on the clock to talk to friends in the back

Multiple visits and this store almost always overcharges for items supposedly on sale. Either the signs are left up after the sale date or,in many cases,the items do not ring up for the posted price, and there is no explanation. For example, I recently purchased 5 2 liter bottles of Pepsi products supposedly on sale 5 for $5. They rang up as $2.75 each. I had specifically made sure the date on sign and the size and products listed were correct. I asked why they didn't ring up correctly( like has happened before), and they had no answer,just agreed it happens, and they understand and apologized but can't do anything. If it were an isolated incident it could pass,but this happens all the time! Something isn't right when this occurs repeatedly. I know others who have had the same experiences.

Most don’t expect much when hitting a dollar store of any kind. Walking in to smell 10 month old air freshener mixed with the lingering residue of 4, 2 pack a day smokers will make even a coroners eyes burn. This particular dollar store sets the bar though. Like walking through an obstacle course where claw machine quality goods are just waiting to trip you, the staff is equally productive. If there’s a storm, forget about it. Power goes out for 5 minutes and they’ll take the opportunity to close the store for the remainder of the evening. If you are like me and think “man I can hit the dollar store in 1/2 the time it’ll take me to go to HEB” save yourself the headache. You can’t be unorganized and lazy. Pick a struggle
