My daughter got her class ring here and customized it herself. When she got her ring back, it was smaller than it was supposed to be. My daughter took it back only for them to size it up 1/4 of a size bigger. My daughter again took it back and was finally given then correct size and the ring was sent off. Well guess what, after a month, the ring is now lost!! When I called to see where her ring was, the rude lady told me that they can’t find the claim number and tried using the excuse of their computer being from back in the 80’s. That sounds like an iss-you not and iss-me!!! I’m letting corporate know in this review that if my daughter’s ring is not found, I will be requesting a refund doubling the cost of the ring and the cost of the warranty!! My daughter is devastated!! I will never purchase another piece of jewelry from here!!!

I dropped my ring in Odessa and purchased an enhanced. Asked for expedited service and asked them for updates, which I repeatedly didn’t get. When I asked the Midland store if they could help today with an update, they went above and beyond and got me my ring that afternoon! I won’t be returning to the Odessa store. A million thanks for the amazing customer service!! So greatly appreciated and so rare these days.

Horrible place, they charged my card twice. Then said I didn’t pay for it. Wouldn’t give me the thing I had paid for. Showed them my bank statement, where it was charged twice. They told me sorry it’s not showing anything, had to throw a fit. Left empty handed called back three another fit. Hours later they called me said it was a glitch. Come get my stuff they we’re sorry. Drove back 45 min to get it. Got no sorry, offer of discounts anything to make it right. Ladies in store were rude.

I bought this ring a year ago. Got it resized, didn't fit. 3 diamonds had fallen out as well. Replaced with cloudy ones. Shipped off to be resized, returned so thin it snapped in half. Shipped off, they added a 1/2 nug to it. Got that back, it looked like a terrible weld job (large middle lump). Shipped off, they added a whole nug to it. Not a perfectly round ring, can tell it was welded, but wasn't going to complain. Noticed the ring isn't straight any more. There's a ln angle where the diamonds are. I'm sending it back one last time and if this doesn't fix it, I'll take my money elsewhere.

I live in a town 45 minutes from Kay’s in midland,Texas I am constantly having to send in my rings to get recoated because I chose to get a white gold wedding set. Had I known that the rings were not fully made out of white gold and just plated I would have chosen differently. In February I sent them in for the recoating. They sent them to their sister store Jared’s in midland, Texas. This will now be the 4th time that I would have to send them back because the craftsmanship was horrible. The manager told me she would call me and let me know that the rings were done correctly. I never received a call from her plus she also didn’t write the correct size for my engagement ring so now I have gone without my engagement ring for 3 months. This is ridiculous. I will not buy any jewelry from them in the future.

Bought my ring on February 2020, took it for inspection and resize in August 2020, the girl told us will be ready by 9/4/2020 and that will send me emails and notification when back at the store, just received an email when arrived to their shop and that was it, needles to say my husband called around 9/2/2020 to find out if the ring will be ready as scheduled on Friday 9/4/2020 and they apologize but there was a delay and bla bla bla but that should be ready the following week, they asked my husband my email and that they will notify me....we were waiting and waiting for email and nothing. My husband got tired of waiting and called on Monday 9/14/2020 and they simply said the ring was there since 9/8/2020 and that they sent an email which THEY DIDNT!!!!! So we travelled the 50 miles from our house to this location and there was a sign in the store stating they were closed and will be opening soon, we are still mad and very dissatisfied with their customer service, it’s the worse I ever experienced. So here I am without my ring and who knows when they are opening the store, so much disrespect for their customers, first time I buy a piece of jewelry here and definitely the last one.

I have been buying my jewelry from Kay for years now, but the last few times I’ve been to this location, I have had nothing but bad experiences. The workers are not helpful, and they “forget” to send my husbands ring in for repairs last year and held on to it for 3 months, despite my weekly calls for updates and reminders, of which they did not answer questions I had and admitted to not even sending the ring in. I will be finding a new company to work with for future jewelry sales.
