#stopeuthanasia #stopeuthanasia #stopeuthanasia.
how is it that they save animals and give them a place to stay but only a short amount of time to get seen or adopted. STOP EUTHANASIA! ANIMALS SHOULDNT HAVE TO LOSE THEIR LIVES BECAUSE OF FULL CAPACITY. INVEST IN MORE CAGES OR BUILD ANOTHER PLACE. absolutely ridiculous. puppies and kittens and dogs any animal shouldnt have to lose their life this way. #STOPEUTHANASIA.

Was told not they can’t reserve dogs but when someone was here at 6:45 they reserved a dog before they even opened. It shows if you know someone that works there it’s better to get a dog you want, if not might as well just go somewhere else. They’re not fair at all. I was told first come first serve not specifics about being in the stupid parking lot to reserve a dog before we open. The girl with the K tattoo on her face that the makeup didn’t cover , reserved a dog for her friend very unprofessional

Is sad to see that this shelter doesn't care that they adopt out sick animals!!!! Just over 3 weeks ago we adopted 2 puppies from there and they both have tested positive for parvo! One unfortunately didn't make it and died within the week we had adopted them...the other she's currently fighting parvo. We had to watch this baby take his last breath! This shelter needs to do better! At least let us know that there's a possibility they might of contracted a disease so we can get them seen asap!

Very unhappy with Midland Animal Control. Feels like a waste of tax dollars. I would have thought part of their job is to keep people safe from dangerous animals, but apparently dangerous animals and their irresponsible owners have more rights than good citizens who paid a few hundred thousand dollars to live in what they thought was a safe neighborhood. We have neighbors who’s dogs have gotten out multiple times and have not only charged at us and our kids when we are trying to get from our vehicles into our front door, but they have also attacked an elderly woman In our neighborhood while she was out for a walk, and animal control only took the few pit bulls involved and then gave them back about a week later. We were so dismayed that they would give dangerous dogs back to our irresponsible neighbors who don’t ever seem to change anything with how they keep the dogs penned up to keep them from getting out of the yard and roaming around the neighborhood again and again. Only a few months after the attack on the elderly woman the dogs got loose again and tore open the stomach of another dog being walked by its owner on her own street. At this point it feel like someone else is going to have to be severely maimed or even die by an attack from these before animal control might do something about theses dangerous dogs. For these reasons we feel the animal control is totally useless and a complete joke! So sad we don’t feel safe letting out kids play outside and that we feel it was a mistake moving here because of some dumb dogs, their irresponsible owners and a neglectful animal control turning a blind eye to the safety of our neighborhood.

I cannot express to you enough how much I absolutely hate this place. I can’t leave 0 stars or I would. Got my puppy last week on a Thursday. She was fine up until Monday morning when she began to vomit and have diarrhea. I called this place and told them everything and they told me to take her to the vet, so I did and she has parvo, big surprise! She had an hot positive which means she had come in contact 7-10 days before I took her to the vet. All the reviews that tell you not to adopt here, are correct. I thought since they were a between 1-2 years ago, that things may have changed, That was not the case! i do not leave reviews ever, but this has to stop. Take care of your pets! Test them before you send them home with someone who is gonna fall in love with them! If you have gotten a dog from here and they are sick, take them right away! The sooner they catch it, the better chance they have!! $3200 is what it has cost us to have her treated. I am just so Infuriated that this has happened to her. When does animal cruelty step in? Is it bc they are strays? Is that why no one cares?? This is ridiculous!

We visited the facility just after Christmas. The staff were amazing! They spent time with us, as we asked questions about potential adoptees.
We adopted a heeler puppy, and staff were available to answer all questions we had about the breed.
Our puppy is settling in quite nicely and we want to thank those staff members for all that they do!

This place is ridiculous. Have called 3 weeks In a row reporting a fox in my back yard. Have reported that it has chased my dog and myself up to the backdoor. I have to keep my dog on a leash In his backyard. Carry a stick for my saftey if I have to go out back. They came and put a trap ...a defective trap I have called multiple times to let them know this thing walks into the trap grabs the food and walks out. I get the lady at the front desk just says ok ill let them know. And what's even bad is I live in the middle of town.

How can animal control take our dog without anypaper work? They showed us nothing on why they are taking our dog and they gave us nothing saying they have our dog??? How do we prove they took our dog???
Fedral law (the 4th amendment) is suppose to bypass state law??? Im sooo confused????

The front desk lady has an attitude terribly bad. It's not a place I'd recommend or want to adopt one. They have the sick mixed in with "healthy." At least on kittens. Definitely in need of a new facility or someone that has a good work ethic.

Do you not have an animal abuse registry in Texas? This place is heartbreaking

Do not feed strays that wander into your yard and call this place to get them picked up, I was informed that if you feed them they are now yours and they will charge you upwards of 100 dollars to "surrender" an animal that isn't yours... They're trying to force pets down people's throats
