I would highly recommend going anywhere else than here, the manager does not ever check on the units and they are constantly being broken into. Also, the cameras they use are broke and do not work. I had my unit broke into and the manager wouldn't even take a call about it , I was forwarded to some call center. The manager is more than likely the one stealing all the stuff since the cameras dont work and MPD said that KO Storage accounts for 70% of all Storage theft in Midland Tx.

So I have a storage unit here. I got it before KO took over. When they took over it wasn’t the best place but it did have security cameras at least and they came in and cleaned the place up for awhile but now it’s more junked up now than ever. And security cameras. Yeah they are there but all the wires are cut and have been for awhile. I had my unit broke into awhile back, called to let them know. Did they have footage? Nope. Said the higher up would check in with me. Did she? Nope. And the renters insurance that I pay for monthly is useless, did I get reimbursed my loss? Nope. I wasn’t the only one that broke into and today there are still broken locks on doors just waiting to get hit again. Did they call the owners of those units? Doubtful. They told me that they drive around daily checking locks. Do they? Doubtful otherwise they would have known mine got broke into. Have they raised my insurance and rent? Sure did. The only reason I stay is I don’t have time to move. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.
10/06/25- Update- I have put in my notice to move out finally. I am moving to one of their other properties but it is clean and gated with visible cameras that appear to work.

DO NOT USE THIS STORAGE COMPANY
several units have been vandalized and broken into, there is no onsite manager or anyone to watch over your unit, the cameras do not work. The whole place is trashed out, it doesn't look anything like the photos. All of my things were stolen, thousands of dollars worth of things.

I had a conversation with one of the managers when I called in. His name was Gonzalo. He was very helpful. He knew everything he needed to know to help me. He got on it immediately and thinking that it might take days or at least hours to get responses he needed he had the responses in less than 15 minutes. I appreciate his work and his manner in which he spoke to me respectfully. Respect goes a long way.

Update...Ko storage took $77.56 out my account twice.and said they didn't..I didn't receive a storage and is still disputing with my bank to get my money back...what's crazy is all my emails between the storage and I all disappeared from my emails.they definitely jacking people for their money.. Don't get jacked too trying to get a storage online

Absolutely horrific experience. 0/10. Showed up to storage unit - still filled with previous owner’s items. It was FILTHY. Some sort of nefarious remains in the unit. Horrified. Terrible company.

Horrible place, dirty, already had 2 blowouts from nails and screws on property, the manager likes to bully her customers! The place says 24 hours excess but she telling lies on that! She’s not professional at all! I could go on but I highly don’t recommend any of the KO storages especially if Kayla is the one in charge. And my lock just got broken off!!

Kayla will always let me know if my storage is open or the door is slightly open! as a first time storage renter that eases my mind a ton!

Unbelievably horrible service! I have been very patient after my storage was broken into. It has been more than a month and I can’t even get a call back from anyone about the footage. I was on the phone with the insurance trying to file a claim and no luck there either….sitting in queue, disconnected 3 times in 45mins and still haven’t talked to a person yet!
