Three times in a row ( all in the last 3 months)... I land, I go to the counter and viola, no car. On average, I wait about an hour for a car. This time I am 18th in line waiting for a car that has been reserved long in advance, hoping people return cars so I can just be late to my meeting, versus a no-show. I guess we'lol see how it turns out. Wonder if it's that hard to realize the need for more cars on hand... or don't accept reservations that can't be fulfilled.

Worst car rental experience.I placed a reservation for full size SUV two weeks in advance, The National rep asked me if a truck would be acceptable, I told her it would if it was a 4 door super cab. When I got to the truck it was 1.5 cab truck (too small for my purposes), truck would not start, and all the check engine lights were on.I returned to front desk and asked for different rental the lady was not happy to see me back and told me thats all they had, the rest of the cars are for existing reservations for that day and she could not help me. I returned the car went to AVIS and they had the full size SUV I needed. I will definitely be taking my business somewhere else.

The folks at Midland National Car Rental are fast and friendly. Got me into a nice ride in no time when I showed up at the counter. Rental car was clean and in pristine condition.

Lines at counter have been terrible. Worst I have ever seen in the US. This is a very bad location and is an embarrassment to the National image.

I was promised they would stay 2 hours late due to my delayed flight but they lied and now I'm stuck without a car. Arrived with 30 + minutes to spare and nothing. Even their customer service line said they should've been there. Absolutely disappointing.Edit: I contacted the email address they left below and have just gotten blown off. Only response was "we'll look into this for the future." No offer to cover my additional costs or anything.

Went to go pick up the car we rented... couldn't get it. They decided to tell us that we couldn't get it because we didn't have a credit card or something. And instead of letting us know we needed that before we bought it, they took our money no hesitation knowing we wouldn't be able to get it. If I could give this zero stars I would. Fix your stuff.

Apparently a reservation is just a suggestion on National’s part. I arrived early and they turned me away then when I came back I had to wait 45-minutes to get a car. This is outside of the 20-minute wait I had in line at the counter. Worst customer service I’ve ever received and what makes it even more intolerable is the two attendants at the counter had zero empathy.

Really my only complaint the windshields seem to always get overlooked get a good cleaning. There have been times it becomes a safety issue.

I've been for the last two year's renting from National in the Midland, TX International Airport and its always a pleasure to meet up with Ms. Meika & Ms. Jean. They always great me with a smile and I'm always treated with courtesy, respect and professionalism, even in the hardest times when there are no vehicles available at that moment at no fault of their own, and having to deal with rude clients and still keeping their composure and high spirits, I know I've been there and have had to wait. They do a great job with what they have available and have to work with.

Had a great experience this week with my rental. Angel was the agent on pickup and drop off. He was so accommodating and took extra care to get me in the type of car I needed while I travelled with my dog. The car was so clean and worked out perfectly for me. Will definitely be back :)

National has a great fleet, cars are generally nicer (better equipped than their competitors). The Emerald Isle, available at many location, works great for me as well I sometimes need certain amenities when traveling on business. Huge shout out to Jean at the Midland-Odessa airport location. Be sure and ask for Jean as she always offers the utmost customer service to her clients!

Can’t say enough good things about the excellent customer service by Miss Jean & Meika. My wife and I are expecting our first child and are in the market for a larger personal vehicle, and Miss Jean & Meika went out of their way to help me find a specific car that I have been wanting to test drive for a while. Really made me feel like an appreciated customer. Thanks Jean and Meika!
