Plato's Closet Midland/Odessa is a store for trendy used clothes, shoes, and accessories for teens and young adults that also pays cash for cool clothes. Reviews describe a generally good experience with nice, friendly workers who provide great customer service, making the process of dropping off clothes and picking up money fast and easy. Many note they will return to sell or shop again. The store has specific times for drop-off and accepts one bag at a time. Shoppers can find cool graphic tees, though some inventory includes very worn items or pieces with retail tags still attached. Experiences selling items vary. Some sellers made a decent amount of cash for things they no longer needed and appreciated that staff were kind, folded returned items, and let sellers see the offer first. Others felt the offer was pretty low and found it odd when very nice, unworn items were not accepted, while visibly worn items were on the store floor, suggesting it depends on who is evaluating the clothes. The process can take longer than expected but is often found to be worth the wait.
Rude staff every time I visit. Dirty store, often see roaches. Clothes are unorganized and picked through. It seems like is a country wide experience as many people say this.

This place is a joke. I have shopped in your store, I see what you sell. I woild love to see the decision process on what you keep to sell. How you decide what to take and not to take is beyond my comprehension. No wonder so many people go to Odessa.

For a high end thrift store it’s clean and very organized. Everything was labeled. Staff was busy and didn’t bother you until you approached the checkout. A lot of trendy shoes clothes and bags.
