I order things for work and they constantly deliver to an individuals home instead. No apologies. No remorse.

Came in 2/7/2024 and needed to send a check via priority mail. I wasn't sure what to do but Roger was awesome and walked me through the process start to finish.

The sign on the door explicitly states they are open until 4:30 PM. WHY IS THEIR LOBBY CLOSED AT 4:25 PM?

I went to the Midlothian Post Office on Wednesday to mail a package to Houston. Tracking said it was supposed to arrive there on Friday. Didn’t arrive. Then the tracking said it would arrive on Saturday. Didn’t arrive. Tracking said ‘in transit’! It’s now Sunday and it still says in transit. It’s a 4 hour drive to the north side of Houston! So because Monday is MLK it might arrive on Tuesday! Are you kidding me? A week to get to Houston? Unacceptable!!!

Left work early to sign for a package and the mail person came by and never left their vehicle nor came to my door to annouce they were here.Called the post office and they claim that the mail person "scanned it in my yard" which somehow translates to coming to the door and knocking asking for a signature.Despite being provided with video evidence that the mail person never left their vehicle they continued to lie to my face about it.What a scummy thing to do.

I'm surprised by the negative posts here. The Midlothian USPS is amazing. Staff is always kind and efficient. Postal clerks Roger and Socrates are the best! Service complete with smiles and silly 'dad' jokes. Midlothian USPS has a great hometown atmosphere.

I never thought Id write a good review for a post office.. but ours here has been a consistently good experience for a while now.. even when they're busy, they are truly empathetic. Ive been impressed ?

Roger was super helpful and friendly. Based on the other reviews, I was not expecting to have such a great experience at a post office. Nice job Midlothian USPS!

The only one I can say a positive thing is Roger, he really always tries to help people and go out of his way to make sure transactions are done right. However, the rest of the staff has an attitude like someone told them to go out and beat up some puppies. They don't know how to process a simple customs form, the package keeps returning to me because of their errors, 3 times they couldn't do it right. One of the postal clerks didn't know what form I was asking for (which USPS customer service representative on the phone told me I have to get at the local postal office), he didn't know what stuff means on the form, it was not good. The postmaster was more focused on disciplining me and my toddler than her work at the office. This isn't a small personal business, this is a tax funded institution that is being paid through my tax contributions like everyone else so please adjust your attitudes and boundaries.

Here we are over a month later dealing with a bad attitude from our mailman who gets the decision AGAINST any legal document that states he or post office can withhold our business mail, packages and residential mail of HIS or THE MANAGEMENT CHOOSING. We live on property where he can deliver mail away from any oncoming or going traffic, yet HE gets the choice to NOT DELIVER OUR MAIL ADDRESSED TO OUR RESIDENCE OR BUSINESS. None of MANAGEMENT at the Midlothian location came out to such address to witness for themselves that their is absolutely NO REASON for non delivery or his choice to withhold our mail. The management have seen numerous of pictures I personally showed them by phone and both management stated as well as corporate office personnel who have searched the address on Google stated he can easly drive into driveway away from traffic or walk up to our porch and deliver mail or our packages for the business instead he refuses AGAINST ANY LEGAL DOCUMENTS that we NEVER GAVE HIM OR MANAGEMENT THE RIGHT TO WITHHOLD OUR MAIL AT ANY GIVEN TIME. WE WANT THIS MATTER SOLVED ITS BEEN A OVER MONTH WITH NO RESOLUTION. Management should be responsible to resolve or investigate such matters themselves and make sure the customers are handled properly. If their carrier they allow to act this way and our mail gets sent back due to non delivery they should have no job tampering with mail that has absolutely no legal documents of us giving this place or people the right to withhold mail instead they get the right to be the Bully. This behavior is absolutely unprofessional on government tax dollars.

Unfortunately I never leave reviews but in this case it's an absolute MUST. We have NEVER EVER had the issues we have until this past year. Our male mail carrier has destroyed our mailbox post, edge of newly sidewalk, bricks infront of mailbox box that were put there so he doesn't drive on our nicely manicured lawn we take care of ourselves. Now because of his horribly BAD ATTITUDE and childlike behavior he intentionally refuses to deliver our mail to our business and residence. We spoke to the lead lady manager and to the man supervisor on multiple occasions. On all occasions having to personally pick up our mail and packages they state they will make sure our mail is delivered the following day. The following day comes and no mail. We have made numerous complaints regarding non delivery and lack of following through with what management says but unfortunately it's just hot air passing through to make you think they will actually do something. Since early February this mail man has stopped delivery at our business and residence because he gets the right to choose when you get your mail and as long as you abide by this mailman standards of what he wants the customer to do then maybe you'll get your mail. When he did deliver our mail he would leave our packages at the road in bad weather for boxes to be damaged. Now with "non deliverable" excuses my business packages get sent back to where I ordered them which sets supply shortage way back in my business. So many people on this route suffer from this man's control of OUR MAIL at his finger tips. This post office has gone down hill over the past two years. After making numerous distinct complaints they also told me to sign up for informed delivery which emails you a picture of each piece of mail you are SUPPOSED to receive that day etc...well guess what IF THIS MAILMAN HAS CONTROL...YOU WILL NEVER GET SUCH MAIL that's in the pictures. They tell you things that sound amazing ideas but it all boils done to SOMEONE NOT DOING THEIR JOB COLLECTING A PAYCHECK!!!

This was the first request that the elderly babysitter move her vehicle into the sloped driveway vs. the street. I responded, the babysitter parked in the driveway the next day, and my mail has been on hold for over a week! Hilarious!Newman: They knew it wasn't me doing my route.Seinfeld: How did they know?Newman: Too many people got their mail!
