The Doors work about 10 percent of the time. You are locked out of the gym more than it is opened. Can’t ever get ahold of anyone when this happens. ??

Don't waste your time going to Boom Fitness. Lady at the desk extremely rude!! I was visiting family for 3 weeks asked if I could pay for a month membership was told they don't offer that. I could pay $5.00 a day or $20.00 a week. I said that was expensive but paid for 1 week to try the place out. Afterwards noticed online they offer a month to month for $50.00 prorated the 1st month and written notice the 21st of the month to cancel for the next month. I called and spoke with the same lady who signed me up and asked if my $20.00 could be credited to that plan and I pay the difference and was told NO!Went down the street to G & J Athletics Center very friendly and paid $20,00 for 2 weeks.

I don’t know how you are supposed to get a membership here. Tried to get in during business hours. About 3pm. Front door is locked and only for members. They don’t have a door for guests so I couldn’t get in to get a membership or talk to anyone that works there. Called the number they put on the door three times and no one picked up. Left a voicemail and haven’t heard back from anyone yet.

Equipment is pretty basic. Treadmill, ellipticals, incline bikes and stairs and machines for upper and lower body workout. Looks like a great free weight area.

Very clean very friendly staff. Variety of workouts available. Personal trainers available at reasonable rates. Prices are better than large chain gyms.

Boom fitness in Mineola is great with 24 hour access. The yoga is fantastic. I teach yoga too but even instructors, gym owners, and personal trainers need discipline, routine and motivational mentors. I found that at Boom. There is a wide variety of equipment, The location is convenient. It doesn't smell like a sweaty locker room. There is plenty of parking. Personal trainers are reasonably priced and give you results. I have personally seen this. The owner is a lovely soul and offers multiple plans for any budget. There is even a no contract option. The owner knows that health and fitness are a priority and has created an accessible space for every individual, couple, or family, who are ready to make a change.
