I love the Mineola P.O. Folks there are always cheerful. I inadvertently left my wallet on the counter on a Wednesday. The janitor found it and turned it in. I didn't notice that is was missing until we were leaving for the airport a few days later and while I expected I'd left it there, they didn't open until after my flight took off. I called into the office and after describing it, I was told it was there and would be safely held until my return, 11 days later. Sure enough, they had it and nothing was missing, not even the $3 inside! Good people!!!

It's always closed and according to the internet it's not supposed to be closed and USPS customer service said they were supposed to be open today until 5:00 thanks for wasting my time

This post office is a joke. They lie and say the mail is delivered and its not. You can call and Michelle at the post will lie for them also. Better take another route when ordering packages cause these people will not get it to you

I don't care what all these other rude people say about mineola post office!! I've lived here 29 years ain't never had a problem at all. You whinny bags put you're big girl pants on and suck it up you want find a better post office EVER!!! And my friend TINA is a real sweetheart can't get no better!!!!!

Mail carrier broke off my mail box handle multiple times until it was no longer fixable. ? Each time they broke it off they would leave me a note to fix it. Well I used a bolt to fix it the last time and they broke it off again to the point a chunk was missing. Completely unfixable so again they leave me a note and this time in Spanish. ? wow the audacity as if I did not understand the English notes or something! ? now they are keeping my baby’s stuff held at the post office stating that customer requested they hold it (when and where?!I never signed or requested that) after I called and complained and explained the situation to the person who answered the call. Great job Mineola USPS. No regard for peoples property, unprofessional and on top of it quite prejudice dare I say leaving a Spanish note simply because you read a Spanish origin last name. ?? making assumptions I guess is the way to approach people isn’t it?

I've lived all over the United States Mineola office has the very worst delivery of packages I've ever experienced in my life I've gone down to adress the issue several times but they don't Deliver packages they slips to mailbox for you to pickup

"kim" who answered the phone regarding my concern with mail being delivered was rude disrespectful and hung up not once but twice. If you cant deal with people go wash dishes or get laid.

I recently did a change of address, during the same time that the govn't decided to change the laws on change of addresses. This was very frustrating. The Mineola staff was very helpful, and kind in walking me though all the new steps.

Worst post office We’ve ever dealt with. Constantly having our mail delivered at wrong addresses or not getting mail at all. Post master just sits in his office and has no interaction with anyone. Pathetic we have to deal with this but it’s usual government inconvenience so what can you do. The customer service people at the counter act like it’s totally normal to regularly lose your mail or not get it at all. Yet this has only happened to use under this post office.

Absolutely incompetent staff that can’t seem to be able to distinguish between address or names your packages end up somewhere else you get other people’s packages just another poorly run government entity
