Room was just ok, refrigerator in the room did not work, asked the staff 5 different times to either replace it with another or give me another room, neither was accommodated, lost almost $30 worth of perishable foods, I travel for work so I buy groceries and eat in my rooms, so needless to say, I am highly dissatisfied with my stay there, I will be in the area for 2 more months working and will find accommodations elsewhere

Staff was great. Rooms were nice.It was great, until I saw the morning shift putting out the breakfast with his bare hands not once washing between anything he had going on. Don't eat the breakfast.. grab coffee and banana and go somewhere

Holes in shower wall for plumbing, valve for shower leaking, TV plays with no video.FYI, if you only have audio coming out of your TV unplug the box, wait 2 minutes, plug it back in, then turn on the TV again. You might have to do this every day.

We enjoyed our stay! The only down side was the jacuzzi tub only had cold water and the jets didn’t work, also the outlets went in and out, other than that it was a clean, spacious room. We would stay again!

Spotty internet service, most channels are low definition, no movie channels. A/c cant keep up with the Texas heat. Smells like moth balls. Barely worth the price. Almost the worst Best Western I’ve ever stayed in. I mean come on…a hotel without HBO or Showtime? Microwave has to be smacked to work…literally. Avoid the first floor.

Mineral Wells was once the home to the most luxurious, elegant hotel in the country. Mineral Wells has changed a lot in the last 100 years, and the Best Western is more of a representation of what Mineral Wells is today. The hotel was basic, but clean and the breakfast exceeded my expectations.

This is our third stay at this hotel.This has been the worst experience so far.There are parents here who are so inconsiderate of other tenants.We have been here over a week.Three days ago children moved in upstairs have been wreaking our nerves to say the least. Stomping around and running from 7:00am everyday.We have reported them and to no avail nothing has changed.As I write this post we are being harassed by the little monsters and their parents upstairs right now.My children would never behave like this or attempt to.Not sure what can be done to remedy this situation.We have a few more days here. Would like to go upstairs and spank the parents.Maybe a refund is due?? enough is enough!!!

Room smelled soooo so badly like smoke, despite being a non-smoking hotel and booking months in advance. Tried to move rooms with the front desk, but they told us they were “fully booked tonight and more booked tomorrow night” and couldn’t help us. Instead, they gave us an industrial style spray and told us “don’t spray it more than 5 times”. Smelled so badly both nights but we had no other place to stay. Tried to get a remedy from the manager over the phone and was hung up on :( weird, rude place! First bad experience I’ve had with Best Western but would never stay here again.

Excellent! We stayed at this hotel with our car club for three nights. They did a five star job - from the front desk to the staff who cleaned our room to Juliana, the person who made sure we had a top notch breakfast experience. We could not have asked for better. Thank you to all the staff.

Very frustrated with our stay at Best Western Club House Inn & Suites in Mineral Wells, TX. We booked this room months in advanced for a wedding. While other guests from the wedding stayed and had an average experience, we did not. We checked in Friday night to a smoky room. We alerted the front desk where they gave us a spray to help mask the smell, but it still smelled musty and the staff acknowledged it. Came back Saturday night to the same smoky smell, used the spary again. Spoke with the front desk worker Sunday (5/7/2023) morning and he said the entire property was non smoking. He said there was nothing he could do about it and shared his managers, Yariann Barcklay, information. I emailed Yariann Sunday, called Monday and asked for a return call, but have heard nothing. Another member from our stay has also been calling to ask to speak with the manager, Best Western shares when the mangaer will be in, we call at that time, and they are not there. Someone told us Thursday (5/11/2023) that there was nothing the property could do about it and to call the corporate number. We are a week out from our stay. It is very disappointing that we have to work this hard to find the right person to speak with and nothing has been done to be compensated for a smoky room.

Booked a non-smoking room for a wedding months in advance with myself and 3 others. Upon arriving to the hotel, we were given a room that had recently been smoked in. It smelled HORRIBLE. I immediately went to the front desk where I was given a “special spray for their rooms that smell like smoke” ?I was also told “don’t spray this more than 4 times” - so they definitely use this often and know they have rooms with smoke in them? Funniest part of all - we were given the choice between “fresh linen” and “pina colada”.When asked to move rooms, we were told there were no other rooms available for both of our nights staying. When we got to the room the second night, it smelled like smoke again (guess their special spray only lasts 24 hours) and again the front desk provided us with the spray.The first night, we asked for a refund and to switch rooms. We were told we could not switch rooms and to “call later for the manager”. Over the next week, we called 4 separate times and was never able to speak with her, despite calling in the windows they offered. Not sure what’s going on here, but there’s a Motel 6 literally next door. I’d just go there next time!
