“I’ve always trusted Aguilar’s Meat Market for quality, but the original location didn’t meet my expectations this time. The meat quality wasn’t as good, and I was a bit disappointed with the fajitas, especially when compared to what I usually get at the Edinburg locations.”

“Amazing selection of quality meat cuts. To add on top of that, their seasoning/marinade is homemade. It gives the meat a delicious juicy flavor. I always go to this meat market when I want to turn the pit on. I know what I’m getting and it never disappoints. Haven’t stopped coming since I first bought from here about 6 months ago. Bob Starks is one of, if not, THEE best meat market in the entire 956 area.”

“10/10 highly recommended. Meat always looks fresh. You have the option of letting them cook it for you, which is what I decided to do. Salsas' they offer are on point on flavor. It came out beautiful.”

“We used to live nearby like 4 years ago, every time we would BBQ this was the place to go. Overall everything meat, lunch etc. is amazing! I grew up getting meat from (Aguilars meat market) but let me tell you their FAJITA! Amazing!”

“This is not your average corner meat market with sad cuts sitting under fluorescent lights. They take their craft seriously.

From the moment you walk in, you can tell the focus is on quality. Premium cuts, clean presentation, and options you don’t find everywhere. The tomahawks are thick and beautifully marbled. Ribeyes, cowboy cuts, picanha… real steaks, not thin slices pretending to be impressive.

What stands out is that they don’t just sell individual cuts. They also offer meat packages for grilling, perfect for gatherings. Everything portioned and ready so you’re not scrambling to figure it out last minute.

And if you don’t feel like firing up the grill, they sell fully cooked meat ready to go. Walk in, pay, take it home, and serve. Sometimes convenience wins.

You can order by phone or online, which should be normal by now, but plenty of places still make it harder than it needs to be. They’ve adapted.

The flavor has that strong northern-style seasoning. It’s not generic. It tastes intentional, bold, and consistent.

Is it cheap? No. It’s gourmet. But the quality shows. When you start with better meat, the whole grill game changes.

Bottom line:
✔ Premium cuts (including tomahawks)
✔ Grill-ready meat packages
✔ Fully cooked options available
✔ Phone and online ordering
✔ Unique, bold flavor

If you’re going to grill, do it right. Otherwise, stick to microwaving something.”
