They refused to cancel my membership after they went on the news for sexual allegations about their Massage Envy. They continued to charge my card even I after İ tried to cancel with them several times and after i stopped using their services.

I purchased a massage membership for my wife about two years ago, which she uses sporadically because of her schedule, but still enjoyed. She uses the massage credits as needed. My card (which was attached to the Massage Envy account) was stolen about 4 months ago and I had the card replaced. I forgot to update Message Envy re: new card so 4 payments were missed, but my wife still has 7 massage credits. She tried to make an appointment, but was told she could not access the seven credits she accumulated (which were already paid for) until the four payments were taken care of. She was told there was an enterprise policy prohibiting access to credits already paid for. When I got involved I agreed to pay the missing payments, but wanted to end my membership, but was told only a manager could do that and no one knew where the the manager was, but I would probably get a call back in two days. I inquired about the manager's name (Julie Metcalf) and was given the wrong name (Alex P.) and initially told they don't give out full names. The person I spoke with eventually indicated I could make 2 payments and the account would active again and my wife could access her credits (already accumulated). I would encourage 1. empowering staff to either have more access to managers; 2. Create the ability for staff to terminate memberships (especially since they can't reach managers); 3.educating staff on operational details and customer service skills (i.e. knowing manager's name, calling or emailing client if there are multiple lapsed payments). Frustrating experience.

If I could give a zero I would. After signing up for a membership they continued to bill me 6 times after signing papers to cancel. There is not enough therapist on site to book. Julie the manager was unresponsive for months and kept the charges rolling in only to call finally with a disgusting attitude after reporting fraud on my card. She is extremely unprofessional employee and have been noted as such by other locations in the area. Beware Stay away!

I definitely recommend Barbara, she was amazing, had all my aches and stress disappear by then end of our session. This was the perfect way to start my day off. I will be back to see Barbara soon!

They sold me a gift card without telling me I had to be on a membership to be charged the price of the gift card and when I show up they tell me its going to cost more because I'm not on the "membership " you have to let your costumers know what they're buying and not just try to sell products.

The Good: My massages were good. The Bad: I had a massage with them a year ago. It was supposed to be $65, but they told me if I pay $110 instead, then I can come back and get a free message. So they gave me a promotional card to present for my free massage. Well I came back expecting my free massage and was told the card was only worth $51 towards my free massage??? So they made me pay $24.So, essentially, two massages would've been $130. I paid $110 for the first massage and $24 for the second massage. So I ended up paying MORE than I would have if I had just paid for both massages separately.Update: Manager contacted me and told me it was just a mistake and gave me a refund of $14...

Massage Envy went from being one of the most prominent establishments to now being a disappointment. The customer service is embarrassingly unprofessional. I have been a member for over 10 years and once I decided to cancel my membership due to never being able to get an appointment the customer service got even worse. I went in to use a gift card simply so it wouldn't go to waste and I was in shock. I called the location 5 times prior to me arriving to double check if I would need to fill out paperwork and all 5 times I called I was met with the voicemail. Apparently, the front desk associate Donna, left the location to take a lunch break , leaving the front desk unattended which was why my calls were not answered. Upon arrival for my appointment, the front door was locked (which is a fire hazard) resulting in my start time being delayed. No one apologized for the delay nor was there any sort of urgency to get me to my session. My therapist Roderick did a good service. However, he was scolding Donna for leaving the establishment unattended and locking the door preventing clients to leave or enter. I asked for a manager after my session and was told she would have to give me a call at a later date. I finally received a call from Julie (manager at Missouri City) and she is one of the most vile individuals I have ever had contact with. She spoke to me extremely condescending and would not let me get one word in. I suffer from anxiety and panic disorder and I was extremely triggered by her to the point of crying uncontrollably due to her lack of communication skills. Julie hung up on me after I asked her to cancel my future appointment. She also mentioned the class act civil suit that massage envy is experiencing which seemed as though she was trying to persuade me into not cooperating with any attorneys contacting me pertaining to the law suit and stated "-"" they are going to give you is one free massage" which I thought was unnecessary to even mention as well as borderline intimidation. Julie and Donna should not be interacting with customers. They both lack the skill, work ethic and professionalism. Shame on you Massage Envy.

I am totally not impressed with this location communication. On my first appointment the front desk staff ran late and I had to wait for 15 mins in my car -- I understand life happens but this is not acceptable. I tried to schedule a follow up appointment this past week. Unfortunately after several (3 to 4) phone calls, the phone was never answered. I left 2 voicemail messages but never received a follow up call. So, I decided to stop by this location but it was closed but the voicemail message states they are open until 7pm but signage on the door has 2 different hours of operation schedules -- this is all too confusing!

I get Sebastian every time, and it’s always the best massage ever. I’ve been getting bi-weekly massages for the past 2 years due to the nature of my job, so I have a lot of people/places to compare to. The manager is also really pleasant to be around and always in a good mood. Overall really good experience every time.

Ask for Domingo! He was very knowledgeable. He loves to chat, so if you're looking for relaxing quiet massage, just let him know and he will be respectful.

I just had a 90 minute massage with Sarah. She does a wonderful job. I wouldn't go to anyone else! The facilities are excellent also.
