Expensive but all lowes groceries are

Honestly, I dont want to make anyone hate any of the managers or workers here or even the store, but the things that tick me off as someone who works here its getting harder to not let people know.
Ive been working here since late February this year and have come to realize how toxic it is. As a cashier in the afternoon you only have a fifteen minute break which used to be a thirty, the only reason it changed was cause of our old afternoon stockers taking an hour and a half, and they still do and we're expected to follow it, which then brings me to my first problem: the stockers dont clock out or get write ups for eating on the floor coming in late, having earbuds in, doing homework in a aisle, being rude, slacking off, or even just not doing their jobs, while as a cashier you get smacked with a write up for the slightest thing even going slightly over our breaks. In reality you can tell they favor certain groups more then others. The cashiers maybe the face of the store but so are the stockers in the aisles.
The rule we have for no eating on the floor is my second complaint I need to share with you. The store manager told me I couldn't do that when I did, days before and after I watched and witnessed multiple MANAGERS and cashiers eating on the floor in uniform, like I was singled out from all of those who constantly do this. And to be honest, they disregard other rules for everyone but someone else, I was also singled out for wearing black tights behind a register and had a jacket around my waist while the self-checkout attendant was wearing black tights with nothing over her waist.
It feels that as soon as I walk into Lowes for work they immediately try to single me out, I've never had any problems till recently when I noticed they didn't do it to anyone else.
My last straw was when I clocked out today. I was approving my hours only to realize that because I had written what time I left on a paper cause the system was down on Monday. The store manager clocked me for Zero hours when I had worked that day. If your planning on working here make sure you realize this store will make your day hell. There is in no way of I ever comeback to Monahans after I graduate will I work at Lowes. Its honestly disgusting how people can do this to people in High school and still think it wont effect their health mentally or physically.

Small town means small grocery stores. But this place really makes an effort to have anything you’re going to need. Staff is friendly and helpful.

They have friendly staff, well organized. But their prices are outrageous!!! Even the simplest things are expensive!!Why??? You have elderly, and people that can’t shop anywhere else!! We are a small community we should help each other! Not make things difficult! I shop mostly for quick items that I need like vegetables otherwise I go out of town to get my main items!! I shouldn’t have to when I have a Grocery store right here! I hope you drop your prices down soon so more people can shop there more often, even the out of town people!! Thank you

Associates are always very courteous, helpful and friendly. Store is clean however, the women’s bathroom can use extra cleaning.

I shop often in the store, when I want something from the deli (chicken) I must wait while pressing a button on the wall, when the lady comes to help me, from the look on her face makes me feel as if I'm disturbing her.
Prices are tolerable, selection is good.

This is my second trip there went this Sunday morning, had a buggy full of items and head to go through self checkout because there were no cashiers available, which I'll find ridiculous that someone doesn't know how to run a cash register That was there working and the manager instead of hopping on a cash register and checking me out. Decided just to watch me the whole time. I got everything out of my cart. Rung it up myself and then bagged it....... The things you do Find there are way over priced and and the customer service I had this morning was not existent.

Always acknowledged when walking in the door with a greeting from cashiers. And not just a greeting but they promote a good attitude and reassure you assistance if needed . Such a hospitable environment. And the butcher swiftly granted my personal request by cutting 1-in cuts at request in a quick hospitable fashion. 🥩

Good variety of inventory. Helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable employees. Only negative is that I searched through 5 shopping carts before finding one that did not have an ear-shattering squeal or a death wobble.
