I am not give this course 5 stars because it the best public course in Montgomery county, but for shb $50 round it is hard to beat. Pace of play is slower than what I am used to, but the delay was due to frost. I will return soon. No practice facility, food, or snack cart which is disappointing. Also you never reach the clubhouse again until you finish your round. Come prepared!

Nice course in good condition. They don't have a club house but apparently you are allowed to bring an ice chest (no water on course). You don't go back to parking lot. Little bit of standing water or muddy spots here and there. Sand traps are more mud traps. Pace of play was a little slow as it took 4 1/2hrs to play. Will be back as it was a nice course and only mi or details to get to 5 stars I'm my opinion.

For the price, this is the best deal in north Houston. Just 15 min from The Woodlands, it's a great layout. The greens and tee boxes are in fantastic shape. Only negative is no practice area or putting green.

Course is never in good shape played in June and no grass in the fair way's. We'll most likely will never play there again. Gwen did us wrong. We had a five players and she new all of us for years. We're fast and don't hold up other golfers. We played 5 almost every Sunday out there. We didn't know and said one of us had to go. Because of this we'll never play there again. It could be a great course if some one would buy it and put some real money in it.

Great course in good condition! It is probably the top 3 courses in the area. Well kept fairways and good greens. The staff was great. You need to make sure you bring your own food and water. There is no water coolers on the course so come prepared. All new carts. They carry Titleist ProV1’s, ProV1x’s and Srixon Soft balls in the clubhouse. It’s is a nice course with a decent slope. However they are not in the GHIN system. Between the water and not being in the GHIN system is why I gave it 4 stars.

They're doing a good job keeping greens and fairways in pretty good shape considering the lack of rain we are getting!

Course was amazingly green considering the drought and extremely hot conditions. Management has obviously been irrigating daily.

I have played here numerous times and it continues to get better. Previous management did not seem to put much back into the course; but Gwen and her team are making progress. Tough to get anything to grow during a hot Texas summer Though the greens are in really good shape. From a course layout/design perspective, it's visually stunning. There is no clubhouse but they do allow you to bring in food and beverages, which I see as a real plus! The price to play with a cart is super reasonable compared to other single play courses in the area. Is there room for improvement - yes. Is it awful - no.

Worst course I've played in the area, $57 is way too much for this course. On a good day it would be a $25 course. Greens are scarred, terrible irrigation with random washouts, no water stations, no restroom, no clubhouse, no range. I would recommend you go elsewhere, as I will be in the future.

Course has come a long way in the past two years. Greens are much better and the work they are doing to clean up the brush makes playing easier. Course has some of the most interestingly designed holes, both visually and from a play perspective. Could use some water stations and a bathroom on it; but they are good with you bringing your own drinks and snacks so that helps. Staff is amazing and you can see someone who cares is now running the course.

I've been coming here a few years, and even got a membership last year. Unfortunately, I won't be going nearly as often anymore. 7-year-old son has been getting into golf, so I decided to just caddie for him since it helps speed it pace of play. They charged me $26 for a cart rider fee. Absurd. It's more than the price of the junior rate.
