The branch in Montgomery…in the shopping strip, of Brookshirs Bros, is the epitome of down home southern community banking! Seriously have seen people ride their horse through the drive thru and do transactions. Cool stuff. Anyway, this team is respectable, knows their customers by name, and bring love and compassion back to banking. Wyatt…now he is your Southern Peach, sweet as a bread and butter pickle and just an all around delight. Tracey, she has been working there since before forever and knows her stuff and every human in town! The manager, Justin, is involved all over the city and at MISD. If you need a bank full of rainbows and sprinkles, this team keeps it real while serving up free coffee and southern hospitality. The Real Deal!

I wanted to come here and say what a great job Noah did, to help me with my wire situation. An unforeseen circumstance got in the way of a wire transfer, Friday afternoon. It never left my account. As upset and discouraged as I was Saturday morning, realizing this issue, Noah proceeded to listen to my frustrations, with the upmost highest respect, while being very calm and collected. Something I did not possess. He called me early Monday morning, and 3x after, to provide updates, until the wire left my account. While I was angry that no one called me about this, he ensured me that he would handle it from there. Sometimes, we forgot that certain things are out of our control, and the control of others, and those who do help, are trying to mitigate the situation the best way possible. I thank him for this and wanted to acknowledge him for a job well done, especially when I didn’t provide him with the best version of myself. Thank you, Noah. I have banked with Woodforest since I was 18, now 39, and I am thankful for employees like you.

We have banked with Wood forest off and on for 25 years I can honestly say I have never had one complaint. We have had bank loans besides normal banking.Virginia Swearingen

They NEVER have enough tellers. Sometimes it takes 10 minutes in drive through and your the only person in the drive through. You ring the bell for service and wait and wait. One time it took so long I thought they were getting robbed. People didn't show up to work one morning so they couldn't do any transactions with money until someone had keys to open safe. What mess at this location.

Terrible customer service experience today. The lady that does not know English as a first language is very rude. She is not acquainted with the common courtesy in the U.S. and especially Texas. So sad Woodforest has stooped to hiring this type of staff. Awful.

PRAISE THE LORD! I have found the most competent bank employee on the planet and her name is Traci. After several frustrating attempts at other branches to deposit my fiancé's paycheck into my account Traci was like; "Sure, no problem!" I am always impressed by employees who know their job and business inside out and that is Traci for you. I also want to say I love Woodforest Bank, everyone is friendly, there's never a line, and they have these great pens they let you keep!

Usually friendly staff, sometimes a bit stuffy tho. I’ve never been in & out in under 10 minutes, very slow to process even the simplest transaction. However they are, so far, error free and that’s what counts in the long run. Just wish they’d mix in a little vigor to show they appreciate me spending my time waiting 15 minutes for them to get approval to cash a $40 check.

We just moved over to Woodforest Bank because our existing bank was charging fees. We were switching our payroll deposit to Woodforest. My wife was there to set up the account and had to wait for me to sign the new account form. In the meantime, someone else came up and Tracy asked us to let her help this lady out. I got there just as this lady had taken our spot. We waited patiently for 30 minutes while Tracy did her best to gossip and pass the time with this lady (who was supposed to be setting up an account). After 40 minutes, I had to leave because I had a conference call. Not once did she show any indication that we could come over to sign the papers (since, afterall, we yielded to her when we were first). At any rate, I had to leave and come back. This ticked me off a little, but I let it go. Then today, I find out Tracy never ordered our checks. That means we can't use our payroll money to pay bills. Fortunately, we kept the other account just in case something like this happened, so we can get a counter check to transfer our money back there. What an incompetent, stupid person! Can't Woodforest hire better personnel? I guess not. I am not saying we are leaving right away, but it looks likely after viewing D N.'s review that bank statements are being charged. We shall see.
