My family loved this place. Clean, comfortable and welcoming. The beds were the most comfortable ever and the sheets were so soft. The front desk employees were friendly and personable. We ate our meals we bought to go at local restaurants in the lobby at tall tables and met many new friends as guests were very friendly, too.

Great check-in. Comfy rooms. Additions to rooms like small touches made me fall in love with this hotel! Have photos, but won't load, look for wonderful embroidered pillowcases of which pillow is firm vs soft. Precious touch!!Mt. Pleasant's finest place to be!Safety: Lights in parking area. Doors close to outside guests 10:30.Food & drinks: Next door to Chili's ???

i can't say anything too bad about this place, the staff treated us extremely well. They were helpful and kind. The room we had was large, clean, and everything worked well. The internet service was great. My only complaint is the pricing but, we showed up last minute. The staff is top notch - polite and helpful.Rooms: The rooms were nice and clean - a lot of amenities, like stove and coffeemaker.Walkability: There are things close by but Mt. Pleasant is not much of a town for pedestrian access, at least Jefferson Avenue is not pedestrian-friendly.

First off. The management is a JOKE and have nothing better to do with their lives that talk down and about others, staff and guests. Favoritism is heavy with Jessica (Manager) and Marsha (Sales Manager) they pick and choose who they are nice to, give discounts, and free snacks to. And they are quick to throw their employees under the bus when THEY are the ones who messed up. They never take accountability for their actions and always say it’s the employees fault. Also they are hella racist and will deny anyone a room if they feel like it even if they are available. They also pick and choose when they would like to work as well as their kids who work there. I didn’t know that being the managers daughter could have so many benefits. Jessica also has a thing for MARRIED men so ladies beware. They are also very rude to customers especially Marsha. Complaint after complaint and yet nothing gets done. And if you can’t find anyone they are outside smoking or in the office drinking. The rooms may look nice and clean they don’t train the housekeepers and I promise you that 80% of the rooms have the same damn sheets as the last 3 guests. And most of the time they are out of cleaning supplies so they don’t clean. Do with that information what you will.Edit:Sincerely an ex employee who is fed up with toxic management getting away with mistreating great employees. I left of my own accord and management is being childish pinning my review on an innocent employee. Do better you childish immature women ✌?

I’ve stayed at this hotel probably close to over 100 nights. It’s been remodeled recently, pretty nice rooms, super comfortable beds, and the staff is hit or miss on being friendly and helpful. I would not recommend this hotel if you plan on staying longer than a few days however. They only clean rooms once a week and charge $20 for additional cleaning. And for the price of the hotel it’s surprising they don’t serve breakfast either. I will longer be staying here as they decided up my rate by $16 a night, two days into a two week reservation, resulting in a much higher than anticipated bill.Overall, not a horrible hotel, but their rates are way overvalued for what you actually get. Unless you just need a comfy bed to crash for a night, I would not recommend this hotel.

Terrible customer service. Wasn’t provided the room that I reserved and paid for. Marsha wouldn’t correct the problem and treated me like I was the problem, suggesting that if I didn’t like it I should leave. (Of course with no refund. That was my problem.) The worst I’ve ever been treated at any hotel in the world.I’ve been traveling for a living for over 30 years. And Jessica, you never were on the phone during my interaction with your employees. You were never on the phone.

Needed a last minute room due to storms during/after a motorcycle charity event. We were able to quickly secure a room with IHG rewards number given on check in to super helpful check in clerk. We just needed a warm shower and comfortable bed for the night. Both expectations were met, and the bed was super comfortable. We didn't need the extra amenities in our room (full size refrigerator, dishes, dish washer, glass top, instant heat, two burner stove built into the counter, etc.), but it's nice to know they have rooms with those features in case we ever need them while passing through or coming to an event. All staff was efficient and friendly, and everything was super clean.

This hotel was recently renovated. Don’t let the façade fool you. Whatever company completed the renovation did a terrible job. I stayed in four different rooms. Each one has signs of poor craftsmanship from improperly installed fixtures to gaps from cabinet installation. When I checked out of the hotel, I asked for a receipt. I called twice and they “sent” it with a “it will be there within 15 minutes”. Nope. Call corporate. The reservation is “still open” so corporate cannot get me a receipt. “Will send one within 48 hours.” What? What year is this? 48 hours for a receipt? Hilton. Marriott. Receipt in 10 seconds in my app. IHG. Nah. Never again IHG.“Oh, check your email. Maybe we have the wrong one?” Nope. I get all of your propaganda emails but for some reason I’m not getting your receipt? Nah bro. Nah.

The first time I stayed I had a great experience, but the second time I tried to stay, the front desk required a $50 incidental fee that I was not prepared for and they would not check me in to a room. This was AFTER they had already taken money from my card. I asked to cancel my reservation and have my money returned. It's been more than two weeks and I never got my money back... DO NOT GO unless you have at least $100 extra to spend on the room aside from your regular rate.

Fantastic hotel! One of the best I have stayed at. It is immaculately clean and tidy, and the added kitchenet is and awesome addition with the price. It even comes with plates, silverware, and other kitchen nessesties that were an unexpected surprise. There is even a dishwasher. The bathroom is clean and includes some complimentary shampoo, conditioner, and soap. The tv has a lot of channels and works wonderfully. The rooms are spacious. Even better, the hotel is pet friendly!
