Great store, friendly staff, financing available, but the disadvantage to buying here is they have no online payment ability!!! They need to get their website in the 21st century!!! It's totally outrageous that senior citizens should have to drive 35 miles to pay a bill. And, their prices on all their recliners can be beat on Amazon!!!

I was told that it was going to cost me $186 plus change to get my BadBoy Outlaw Extreme transmission oil changed plus adding a set of blades which I had already purchased. When I received a call from the store informing me that my BadBoy was ready for pick up, I asked how much was my bill. I was informed that my bill was $450.15, in which I immediately replied why so much,for what was done. I was told that I had a bad spindle which I had not a problem with before I took in to Hess for the transmission oil and blade change. I told the person that I didn't give them permission to put on a spindle, the person told me that they didn't put a spindle on but it took about three hours of labor to get the blade off of the spindle. Now I am going to be charge approximately $264.00 in labor for getting a blade off my mower. I told the person that Hess was wrong for charging me extra and that that was bad business, well the person said I will charge you $221 which was $186.00 plus tax.The original price for transmission oil change and putting blades $186.00 now the price went up $264.00 because it took service tech three hours to get blade off spindle, now I suspect that spindle was messed up with the technician trying to get blade off. No more dealing with the mower department at Hess Furniture Company in Mt. Pleasant, Texas

I would highly recommend Hess furniture. Cindy and her employees go out of there way to help. Cindy and Salina helped me and one of my sons on purchasing furniture, pictures etc. They greet you with a smile and willingness to help. I have gotten many compliments on my furniture and all the decorating ideas they had for my house. I just say go to Hess furniture they are awesome. Thanks so much Cindy and Salina for all your help. It was much appreciated.

Mt. Pleasant,there are 2 buildings. So 2 different showrooms.1 with lots of selections and another with discounted inventory. A very sweet,young, attractive person guided us to the other showroom. She was very accommodating!

Most of the sales staff were really nice. However, there was one salesman there that was condescending & rude both time we went in. If you can avoid him it's a good experience. Won't return, though...

One of the pull handles broke on our Ashley recliner sofa that we bought 16 months ago. I went to the Hess Furniture Outlet(where we purchased it) and took in the broken handle. They told me that the reclining mechanism was only covered for 1 year and that the pull handle was part of the mechanism, however one of the employees went to the back and found me a used(but in excellent condition) replacement pull handle. I came home and installed it and now the recliner is working like new. I'm very happy with this type of customer service.
