My car's engine was making an ugly rattling noise and shaking. I first took it to a different shop. Was told it needed motor mounts and 3 different mounts were put on. It didn't fix the issue at all. Had another mechanic look at it and he said it needed another motor. I finally decided on Sun Auto it took them 30 minutes to find the issue and fixed it. Turns out the alternator was loose. Sun Auto will be the only place I will take my car to from now on.

The staff is always knowledgeable and welcoming. I moved to Wylie recently and I'm happy I chose them to do my inspections.
My initial review was from years ago. Since they have switched to a new company/name the service has been terrible.
Went in January 2026 and the general manager was very unpleasant. The service was impeccable when I used to go in since 2021, once or twice a year.
I asked for the photos I usually get after a service and I never got them even though he acted like they'd be sent.
He was quite short with me and kept telling me to have a good day while I was looking at the report to see if I got the services I requested.
I have no idea what the receipt is saying because the total is more than the listed prices and it doesn't add up. I feel like I've being duped without an opportunity to get an explanation.

Carlos Salazar was awesome. He helped me out big time with my brakes and handled all my maintenance without any hassle. Super chill, honest, and knew exactly what he was doing. My car feels way better now and runs smooth. Definitely recommend hitting up Carlos if you need someone you can trust with your car

10/12 update:
I received a very nice email from Jonathan apologizing for my experience and he was able to refund me for the diagnostic fee. Things happen and I do feel they took appropriate steps to make it right. I appreciate the gesture very much.
I would caution anyone from having work done here. I took my wife’s car to this location because her brakes were squeaking and was told that she needed to replace all four brakes and rotors and that it would be over $1490. Something just didn’t feel right.
Yesterday, I took my car to another mechanic in Plano who told me the brakes had plenty of life left and the rotors were fine. This mechanic told me the problem was actually a little bit of rust which he was able to remove with one hour of labor. He charged me $100 and my wife’s brakes are no longer making any noises.
