We were coming through town and needed a good stopping point. This was perfect! The value was excellent and the room clean and safe. It was actually nice having the ability to park right outside our room and just haul the bags in and out. We forget about this convenience with most properties no longer opening to the outside. We felt safe here and would stay again. Breakfast was typical hotel continental breakfast but it was good. The ONLY negative was the water pressure in the shower was pretty low- but it was liveable.

This is an older economy property. Bed were comfortable and everything seemed clean. It seems like there were longterm renters staying at the property based on things I saw.

I've never been to a hotel before that had such nice and comfortable beds! I wasn't expecting the world, just needed an affordable room for the night in town. But honestly I loved the bed at the hotel more than I like my own bed at home (which is crazy)! The mattress is super comfy, the sheets are super soft, and the pillows were plush! The bathroom was great too, nice shower and toilet, the room was clean and simple, AC was working perfectly too. Overall an amazing find for that price! If I ever find myself in Nacogdoches, I'll stay here again for sure

We were not able to turn off the bathroom fan because there was no switch. Very very strange !!If renovations are in the future it would be nice to remove the carpet.Noteworthy details: Was happy with the lady who booked me that night she was so very nice.Thank you kindly.

Friendly staff. The room was great. Coin laundry, ice machine vendor machine are easily accessible anytime. Pool is beautiful. Roses in the landscaping around the pool are so pretty! Covered picnic area and trailer parking are big pluses.Rooms: Single King Bedroom has plenty of room for leaving multiple luggage bags open and still leave the desk open to office use. Bathroom is big enough to give you room to move around/change clothes without feeling cramped.Walkability: Be prepared to drive. North St./Hwy 59 is too busy too cross on foot, sometimes difficult to cross via vehicle.

Great place to stay, had 3 double beds for the 3 of us on motorcycles. Always nice to have breakfast and hit the road without having to stop somewhere else to eat.Rooms: We had 3 double beds and plenty of room, very clean.

I wasn't sure what to expect with this Best Western because I generally don't like hotels with outdoor walkways. But the hotel exterior was nice and clean, and once I got into the room I was very pleasantly surprised. The room was very clean, super spacious, and nicely updated. The beds were clean and comfortable. There was a mini-fridge, microwave, coffee machine and hair dryer. They provided shampoo, facial soap and a makeup remover wipe. I had plenty of towels, and the water pressure was fabulous. I would definitely stay here again. The booking process was super simple as well. I booked online, and their price for just one night was better than most of the other hotels in the area.

Disappointing from start to finish! I called to make a reservation for two nights, asked for the price and was quoted a price I was happy with. Upon arrival we were informed that the price she quoted was for one night only. Our room smelled heavily of mildew. I was told we would have a king size bed, but it was a queen. The pillows were terrible as well. I woke up with bed bug bites to top it all off! Needless to say, we did not stay a second night and never will.

Worst hotel experience I have ever had. Room full of mold with strong pungent mold smell. We stayed less than 2 hrs, and vacated our room. They didn't have any other rooms and refused to refund our money. Many others have complained of mold, they know they have a problem but won't do the right thing and refund customers who refused to stay because of it. I'm fighting this with my credit card company since best western corporate and the local management team would not budge. Please do not stay here for your own safetyRooms: Mold in rooms, pungent smell.Safety: Mold is hazardous to health. My wife and I felt unwell after less than 2 hrs

The employees are very welcoming, helpful & customer service oriented. The room was clean & comfortable; AC worked very well & pool was clean & open. Will definitely come back and tell anyone staying in Nacogdoches this is the place to stay!

We go to Nacogdochus 3 or 4 times a year. We always stay at this Best Western. Always clean and staff is great. Easy to find with Google map. But there is construction near hotel. Still pretty easy to get to.

There were several issues.1. The check-in process when we got there gave me weird vibes. My hometown is very small and doesn't have its own post office, so I can understand why the clerk was confused when a different city came up in her search of my driver's license. I wouldn't normally take off a star for this, but the combination of other things, and the fact that it bothered me all night because of the way she looked at me and talked to me, removes a star.2. We got in the room and two of the lights didn't work. That's 50% of our main lighting. We called the front desk to let them know so we wouldn't be charged for it and told them we didn't want it fixed. I mean, really. When you get to a hotel after a long day of travel, you just want to rest and relax, not deal with someone coming in your room to fix things. (One lamp was missing a light bulb, the other was not functional. And yes, we tried the switch on the lamp as well as the light switch.)3. There wasn't enough water pressure to shower in the morning. That's fine, just take a bath, right? Nope. The drain stopper was not functional either.4. I now have a chiropractor appointment because of the terrible pillows. I can barely move my neck, which really sucks because we have an 8 hour drive ahead of us and now I can't help my husband who drove 10 hours yesterday. Lesson learned. Bring your own pillow.5. We wanted to watch the NBA Finals, but the TV was small and far away, so we moved the dresser it was on. As we moved it, two articles of clothing and a packet of Halloween makeup popped out. Doesn't give me a boost of confidence in the cleanliness of the rooms. Were those items there since Halloween? It's June.On the positive side, we had lovely interactions with the morning clerk. The hot breakfast was quite nice as well. The A/C worked.

For the value and need, this place met our expectations. Hotel staff was friendly and breakfast was delicious. Our room was very clean. The beds were super comfortable as well as the pillows, which isn’t always the case with hotel pillows. The only negative was the room smelled wet/damp, which consequently caused the room to be stuffy, and the bathtub didn’t drain well. Otherwise, we slept well, and were very pleased.
