Allegedly changed several gaskets for me about a year ago as well as installing a new radiator. Radiator is already leaking. Several of the gaskets were not changed at all (and I was charged for them) and when I got my truck back, it had almost no oil in it at all, and they tried to convince me that it actually only needed 7 pounds of pressure with a couple quarts to work fine. Simply added oil and the pressure jumped back up to where it should've been. Made it a quarter mile down the road and the truck sprung all kinds of codes because the spark plug wires weren't even reconnected on 2 of the 8 plugs. Also had personal belongings go missing out of my vehicle. DO NOT RECOMMEND

As a college student it’s hard to find a mechanic that doesn’t make you feel overwhelmed or try to take advantage of you. These guys listened to everything I had to say and helped diagnose my car with urgent issues that I didn’t realize were urgent. Thank you guys for being so patient with me and getting everything done efficiently. Will definitely be returning here!

These folks changed my valve cover gaskets on my 2005 Ford Explorer. When they reassembled the valve covers, they pinched some wires in the cover. My vehicle would not quit going into failsafe mode. I took it back once by wrecker and once barely got it to the shop before it died. I had never even heard of this mode before they worked on it. They spliced the wires back together instead of replacing them. Almost a year to the date the valve cover gaskets started leaking. They had stripped the bolt on the back right cover. The one they had pinched the wires in. In a week it leaked 3 1/3 quarts of oil and blew my engine. I no longer do business with them and recommend to everyone I know not to either.

This USED to be a good and reliable operation. It is not that anymore. Just excuse after excuse. Shoddy, incomplete work. Charged me $90 for "diagnostics" for one of their guys leaving a rubber cap off of an intake. And that's just one event. I'm done.Justin quoted us $800 for a particular job. Got the EXACT same job done for $520 elsewhere.I should have listened to my friends who told me National Automotive has gone downhill. I hope they turn it around.

Worst service ever. Dropped my vehicle off while it was overheating and they didn't look at it then. Told me they couldn't get it to overheat. I told them they hadn't driven it long enough, they said they don't want to work on my car and to come pick it up. Trash mechanics, trash people.

Terrible. Simply went there to get my yearly inspection. I waited in the waiting room. After I paid and left, I checked my glove box and they stole my brand new battery jump started. I hadn't even used it yet. $85 to replace. Will never go back again and tell everyone I know not to use them. They are thieves.

I had a wonderful experience with Rick at National Automotive. He replaced my starter and had to redo some of the wiring. Upon diagnosing the problems, he was able to give me a fair quote and immediately start work. A few of the others that are doing TV ads boasting that they usually offer same day service..... Well they told me, a couple of places, but especially this one that regularly shows his TV commercial and also in his big yellow page phone book. When I called him and another Nac auto repair shop..... He says we're 4-5 weeks backlogged.... Next guy sounded friendlier but said it'd be about a week... Then one ol fella was just down right cocky about emphasizing he charged 110.00 hour for his work blah blah blah .... Like maybe he took for granted having a 2003 vehicle meant I was penniless. Do potential auto repair customers actually call around WITHOUT cash they know they got to spend.... That cash certainly doesn't compare to financing, taking a new monthly expense and adding comp/collision to my 97.00 insurance I've had 2 years with a spotless record...... Geez I can only imagine what added comp/collision to my existing liability and uninsured motorist. No thank y'all. Well I guess I am rambling as older age tends to bring out......... But KUDDOs to Rick and his gang at National Automotive.... I'll continue using them. I used to use them 25 years ago and they were on point. They still are.

These people are unbelievable. You better hold on to your receipt and keep a record of exactly what date you had them do your work because they file their paperwork in chronological order which means that they can't find a record of work On your car under your name or the VIN of the car; only by the date the work was done. I've never seen such total incompetence.
