Opened a new account online and they still had a new account hold on it 4 months later that I was unaware of even though I was making regular deposits. Called to inquire why my scheduled payments were being returned and was notified about a hold. The local branch told me to call the 800 number and the 800 number rep told me to go to my local branch. Complete runaround. The only resolution that they offered was for me to call my credit card companies and explain to them that regions made and error in hopes that they would grant me a courtesy and refund the late payment and interest charges. Save yourself a headache and choose another bank.

They're about what you'd expect for a small town chain bank. Not enough locations through out the state/country, and you get charged fees for every little thing. The tellers are nice enough, but the fact that my checking account regularly goes negative even though I've triple confirmed with them that it shouldn't be, yet continues to, that'll leave a bad taste in your mouth to say the least.

They will steal your money by signing you up for account benefits you did not ask for. I was charged for services I told them I specifically did not want. Very poor customer service. DO NOT PUT YOUR MONEY IN THIS BANK.
