My wife got her nails done and a pedicure this evening. She had no time for relaxation during her experience and he nails were not done correctly. She felt rush and because they were rushing to get her service done. So every time she looks at her nail it reminds her that she is not worthy but she is completely worth in my eyes and just makes me sick to my stomach that she thinks that because of them.

Update: My original nail tech Ms. Kim has left, has not been there for at least a month. My last two appointments I had at Venus I had Ms. Lynn do my nails instead. By that point my nail growth was incredible from the work Ms. Kim had been doing. Unfortunately Lynn over filed & over buffed my nails to the point that they're sensitive to the touch and extremely thin. There's thick red lines from where my acrylic was filled in by Lynn. I've had to cut my nails completely down, and I'll have to do very minimal to them for the next month or two until all the damage is grown out and cut off.
This is my second time coming to this particular salon, and it was great! I got an acrylic nail with gel overlay. Ms. Kim was my nail tech, and she did an amazing job. She paid so much detail to the shaping and sculpting of each nail, going back after each sculpting step to do retouches. She was very attentive, and I did not feel rushed at all. Personally, this is one of the best manicures I've received. I've hesitated to get acrylic due to previous acrylic manicures looking lumpy or larger than my nails would actually be. But this manicure changed my mind! Hopefully Ms. Kim can be my regular nail tech, and I will be updating my review after a couple more appointments with her!

Kelly was very nice. I waited about 5 minutes before being offered refreshments and seated. She was focused on details and ensured I was happy with my services.

I visited Venus nail salon on today and was pleasantly surprised. At first glance the salon was clean and staff welcoming. Kelly does a fabulous pedicure and she’s super friendly. They are also open on Sunday 10-5. So Kelly also gave me a neck and shoulder massage. Amazing!!!! Kim made my nails look beautiful. Thank you Venus for a wonderful and unforgettable experience.

Wanted so much to give this place a chance as i usually refuse to get my Nails done in Nacogdoches, As the running gag With the locals is that you have to go to Tyler or Longview or Dallas or Houston unfortunately this Experience further proved This idea. Didn't clean her station before switching customers I felt like I was on a bad Reality TV show, Didn't clean my cuticles or cut my nails before just roughly applying acrylics I thought asking Basic French tip set would be a smart option because who can mess this up? I was wrong. Not only was I charged $65 for this. I left with paint on the side of my hand and patch your nails, It felt obvious that the nail tech Was aware of my feelings during the appointment as she continuously asked me if they were OK, But since they were already on, and it was a Sunday and it's the only place open on a Sunday in Nacogdoches, I had no other option. I felt that I needed to get up halfway through my appointment to wash my hands. I'll give it to them. They were quick, but I don't think I ever get my toes done here despite being grilled for it at the door. As they noticeably have fungus killer at each of their stations.

I asked for simple gel x overlay cat eye…she filled with acrylic and used shellac, not the gel x powder. The design was fine, but my nails chipped in less than a week, and she left my nails uneven, thick and they snag on everything. Just not happy. I’m just not going back.

I won’t go anywhere else to get my manicure and nails painted! The shellac lasts 2 weeks plus on my real nails and that is rare! The prices are great as well!

BIN WAS AMAZING!!
He was really something while i was at his station. so nice, calm , and collected. he was patient with me when I wasn’t sure what I wanted and he went out of his way to help me decide what color and shape!
