Castaneda Meat Market is a spot with incredible Mexican food and delicious breakfast tacos. The groceries and meat always look fresh. The food made at the cafeteria inside is always great, good, and priced fantastically. Their flour tortillas are on point, and the tacos are incredible. The best carnitas and chicharrones are to die for. The sweet corn tamales at the counter are delicious. The barbacoa is phenomenal. Service is nice, wonderful, and never slow. People are nice. It is the best Mexican food ever in Navasota.

I have been a Castenedas customer and fan for 10 years + . My family and I drive through town and can’t resist stopping for a taco and sweet bread. They are the only taco place for MILES worth stopping for, and worth driving to.

The BEST food in Navasota! Street tacos with beef, chicken or pork. Their Gorditas and tortas are amazing!
