Brookshire's is a full-service supermarket known for quick shopping. The selection can be light, but the store offers quality, with hand-cut meats, fresh produce, and full-service deli and bakeries. The deli provides quick, inexpensive meals like fried chicken, Pittsburgh hot links, or fried catfish, which are always good. Employees are frequently noted as friendly and helpful, with one cashier even helping a customer save money. The bakery receives praise for items like a last-minute cupcake cake that exceeded expectations. Some locations offer added services like a pharmacy and gas pumps. While parking lots can be small, prices are very comparable to larger chains, making it a highly recommended stop for groceries.
