Apparently you can reserve cars all day long on here, only to find out last minute, they have no cars. Web site shows plenty of inventory and never declined any selected vehicles, but get a call saying they did not have the car I booked. When asked what they did have, person on phone stated "we have no cars at all".Seinfeld: "You see, you know how to *take* the reservation, you just don't know how to *hold* the reservation. And that's really the most important part of the reservation: the holding. Anybody can just take them."

Avis is now located inside Walmart - the rental car is located somewhere within 3 rows of parked cars, in the Walmart parking lot. Then you have to locate an empty space when returning the car, in the Walmart parking lot, with 100 other Walmart shoppers....

Horrible. Got ill during our trip, was forced to return the car at another locarion than rented from. Avis tuned me up for $700. Stay far away from Avis

Clean new vehicle rented to accommodate family in for the week. The price was fair and the vehicle was easy to drive. Avis is located right off the freeway and drop off was extra nice.

This place was fantastic to deal with. I was able to exchange my large vehicle that I received from the Austin airport when they ran out of cars for a vehicle that was easier to handle. I appreciated their helpfulness in this matter. The Austin location could learn from the New Braunfels about customer service. Thank you for your help.

Very horrible customer service. This was my 2nd time at this location, and I had the same person help me both times. He seemed like he did not care about my issues. My rental had expired tags, and after doing research in their lobby, I found out that I would be responsible for any tickets I received. When I told the guy about it, he said I could downgrade my rental and get a van (I was getting a premium SUV). When I asked if I would get reimbursed for the difference, he told me no. Basically, he told me that there was nothing he could do. I had to drive the rental with expired tags to the airport location to do a vehicle swap. I would not recommend this location for a rental.

I have rented from this Avis branch twice, and both times have been such pleasant experiences! The vehicle was perfect and the staff are so great and were so helpful.

Helpful office staff, easy to reserve online. Selected cars are always available unless booked at the last minute. The vehicles I've used are clean inside for the most part, every now and then I'll end up a stinky car.

Horrible service. So many different stories and reasons are given every time. The obstacles you have to jump through to rent from this place. Absolutely horrible. Never returning here again.

I am not an experienced traveler but have over the last 2+ years faithfully used Avis 3 times. Each time I have been charged 2-3 times the amount originally quoted. Each time Avis has provided justification for doing so. For example my most recent rental was quoted at $175 I ended up paying $424.60. I recommend people read the fine print of an Avis quote. Mine read that they would charge me .40 per mile. Would have been nice if that was called out when I picked up the car. My mistake to be sure however it will be the last time I give Avis the opportunity to capitalize on my lack of experience. I sincerely hope this reads as a tale of caution to all who see it.

I had no issues with their service or the vehicle we rented. Process was quick n easy. I've had absolute nightmare experiences with enterprise so I will just stick with Avis from now on.

Manager is a bad representation of Avis and has a very poor attitude. Because she’s the only one in the area she feels she can do whatever she wants. I rented a car at the airport and I had an issue so I had to do a car exchange and she gave me the car. She wanted to give me not one like I had originally rented. Her comment to me was if I didn’t want the car she was giving me I could drive to the airport. If you’re renting an Avis car, it would be worth the extra drive to the airport.
