Store kept me alive for a while when funds were tight and I could only walk places to shop to avoid gas prices. My biggest complaint about the store itself is that it's inventory isn't exactly consistent anymore. They'll have plenty of Brand A or B one month but then not have them for two to three months at a time before Brand A and B returns to shelves.

My husband went to buy a beer and he has his consular ID that is valid in the state of Texas and the cashier told him that he needed a Texas ID. Never in the 25 years that I have lived in Texas have I heard something so stupid for me it was discrimination smh 🤦🏻♀️

I've never been to a Dollar General where the main register was closed....!? Is that normal? I had a basket full and I really didn't want to check myself out. However, I was told the register was closed and I'd have to self checkout. I will leave my full basket next time. IF any other DG does this to me. I've been to many and this has never happened. The employee working was very nice. But, they could have stopped stocking to check me out. When I first got there nobody was there. By the time I was checking out there was a long line. And the register never opened.

Sunday morning 11:45 AM August 27 young man refused to ring me up told me I had to use the self check cashier machine I told him I did not like it. He told me I had to use it, then proceeded to ring up the lady behind me with full-service, I left my items and left the store.

I work near this location so I'm here often. Every time iv come in its clean and organized nothing like the rest of them in town. Not sure if its the manager but who ever keeps up with this location does a damn good job.
