Still does 2 per person per product in Pokemon. Limit it 1 per person. No reason there is over 100 available across 2 different items and only 50 people get 4 things each. It’s extremely unfair that people get to jump in the front of the line with their buddy that has been waiting.

I have to say. This gamestop is always well stocked, organized and staffed by friendly representatives who are always willing to help you out in getting the right games and accessories you want. Most notably, I have to give them praise for how they handled switch 2 onsite pre orders. Everything went smoothly and was free of any complications. The store had a good number in stock and provided an easy purchasing experience. I also have to give them props for their store layout filled with plenty of games, cards, and other fun items they have for sale.

Best gamestop ever. Ariceli, the stores GM, and Kim the Assistant GM, are amazing people. I drive to this location often and frequently see them provide quality customer service. I've also witnessed them dealing with a lot of terrible, low IQ customers on a regular basis. They are great at handling the simple minded goons who frequent the store. Couldn't be me. They deserve massive raises.

I came in just to look around and I was pretty much hovered over by a staff member trying to talk me into buying things I had 0 interest in, then getting upset when I said I was just there to browse.
If this is how they treat people just walking in to browse, I can only imagine how they treat paying customers. Stay away.

I’d give this place zero star if I could. Brought my ps4 and controllers in at the end of December/beginning of January and was told they’d buy my controllers back at that time and to bring back my ps4 with a power cord and then they’d buy it back. Brought back my ps4 today and was told oh we won’t take it unless you have a controller and hdmi cable as well, saying it changed in September. No one told me last time I came in or I would have kept one controller. I was only told last time to bring in the power cord and they would take it. Only to be screwed over today. Even the corporate office said it was up to the store’s discretion to accept it or not. DO NOT STOP AT THIS STORE. THEY HAVE NO PROBLEM CHEATING PEOPLE

I've been shopping at gamestop for decades. I've had a membership for at least 15 years. I went to this location in August to pre-order a game for 2 reasons. I wanted a physical receipt and to make sure the order was correct. The sales clerk decided to type my information in manually. I told him I have an account, and it's all in the computer. He typed my email address wrong. This means no emails if there is ever a problem. I asked them to fix it, they even called the manager and they couldn't fix it. They said it's no problem because I can just use the order number to look it up. Not remotely helpful because I still won't get notified if anything goes wrong. Now the clerk says he can't print this type of receipt. I got a text message after 1am from my bank setting off a fraud alert because a store that is closed just ran my card. The next morning, when I woke and saw the message, I approved the purchase. I looked online with the order number and the wrong email address, and the order was in ship status. 2 days later, I checked because this is the day it ships. It now says canceled. I called the store and customer service. They determined it was another mistake from the store as they canceled it from the store. Do yourself a favor. Find somewhere else to go as this location has only very young teenagers who clearly don't have the experience to be running a store. Because of this canceled order, I couldn't order the game at all, as it's sold out at every company selling it. So my son, who worked so hard to earn this money, gets bubkis.

i came in to do a trade in and the employee working that day was incredibly rude and unprofessional. shouting at people in front of me and other customers, giving me rude looks and remarks. i called her out for being unprofessional and she kicked me out ? i drove by later that day and turns out she closed the store. we ended up having to drive to seguin to do the trade in where the staff was incredibly friendly. on the other hand, the store itself has a very limited selection. go to DPAD!!!!

I would give it 0 stars if I could. Arrived at the store Sunday 3/17 at 6:15pm after driving an hour and a half to purchase a PS5 and some games. It was the only GameStop open until 8pm on Sunday near where I live(1.5 hour drive). I know I could've gone to Walmart but wanted to support the smaller store. Upon arrival there is a sign on the door that says" Left for lunch at 6pm. Will be back 6:30ish". There was another car parked waiting. I think ok I can wait. 6:30 comes, then 6:45, then 7:15. In that time span, 5 other people arrive at the store and try to enter, besides the car beside me that was already there. At around 7:30pm a lady comes to the door after a 6th person tries opening it. She says "Oh sorry I decided to close early and forgot the sign was up". She then takes the sign down and closes the door. Now there are 5 customers wanting to shop and she turns them away. I was on the phone with a customer service rep(Israel) for GameStop to let them know what was going on. He takes my name, number, and email and says the District manager will be notified and will contact me. It's now Wednesday and I've heard from no one at GameStop. I would think the purchases we would've made would have justified her keeping the store open until the posted time of 8pm.

Staff is ALWAYS friendly! They address my kiddo (8) when he's checking out with his rewards account and they've had some hard to find items we've wanted. Store is always clean and organized. Two thumbs up!

Came to GameStop on a Friday around 230-3pm. The place had about 10 people in already, and only one employee was working at the time. A second employee did arrive to help with the long line thankfully.First impression: larger than most Gamestops I have been to. Larger floor space and more merchandise. Only downside was the little selection of PS5 games.I was trading in an older console that I haven't used in years. My fault for not resetting the system prior to coming in. The employee who was testing the console mentioned it was his last day working there. He said he didn't like working there, and I could tell by his attitude and demeanor. The console had an update, so the employee gave me the console back stating to come back when it's updated because the store's wifi is not great. I found it odd that they couldn't reset the Xbox and allow the next owner to update, but i figured it was store policy and obliged. The employee stuffed my equipment back in the box to the point I couldn't close the box. It was rather unorganized and abrupt how he placed it back in. He then grabbed some merchandise behind the counter and walked out to the main floor to restock items. I fixed up the boxing as best as I could and walked out.Not the best encounter I've had at GameStop. I definitely could have done some measures beforehand to probably make this easier, but the lack of professionalism and attitude from the employee was unnecessary.I'll continue to be a GameStop employee as I understand this one employee doesn't represent the company as a whole. Also, I've always had a good experience at this business.
