Goodwill Store and Donation Station in San Antonio has been serving the community since 1945, focusing on fighting poverty and creating opportunities through education and employment. Purchases and donations support free local programs such as job placement, vocational training, and youth services. The store offers a variety of items, including clothes, home decor, books, CDs, DVDs, furniture, and small appliances. Customers often find good deals on shoes, bedding, and small household items. The store is well-organized, with separate aisles for clothing and other goods, and features a dedicated area to test electrical items. It has three dressing rooms and two bathrooms, making shopping convenient. The inventory tends to include higher-quality donated items, which attracts many shoppers, especially those looking for deals on clothing and accessories. Donation experiences are quick and friendly, with staff working efficiently even during busy times. The store is generally clean, though some customers note that parking can be difficult due to a small lot and high traffic. Some shoppers express frustration about pricing, feeling that prices have increased significantly over the years, making it harder for people with limited income to buy affordable items. Additionally, there is criticism of the high salary of the CEO, with some customers believing that thrift store prices should be lower to better serve the community. Overall, Goodwill San Antonio is a well-organized, community-focused store that offers good deals and supports local programs, though some concerns about parking and pricing are noted.
I really enjoy coming to this store! Whether it's for project ideas I have, a good deal, or dropping off items for donation. It's always a pleasant experience.

Found some cute home buys, two decor pillows, laundry basket and a cap. It was all organized and easily to find isles. Bathroom was clean for the most part. Only issue was parking, we had to wait for someone to leave before parking. Staff was nice!
