I recently had my diesel pickup repaired at Hastings Diesel, and I couldn't be more impressed with their service. From the moment I walked in, the team was friendly, welcoming, and incredibly knowledgeable. They took the time to thoroughly explain the issue with my truck and gave me an honest, fair estimate for the work.
The repair was completed in a timely manner, and my truck is running like new again. I really appreciated how transparent they were throughout the process, and the price was more than reasonable for the quality of work done.
It's rare to find a shop that combines great customer service with such expertise and fair pricing, but Hastings Diesel has truly earned my trust. I highly recommend them to anyone in need of diesel repairs.

Hastings customer service is top notch. My situation was bad due to needing a fell engine replaced my cost vs value of vehicle did not make sense. They have a great system linked and provide details with photos videos.

I have taken my 2017 F-350 6.7 truck to Hastings Diesel several times (trying to give them the benefit of the doubt). Every time they initially diagnosed the truck incorrectly. This last time, my truck was showing low fuel pressure and shutting down pulling loads. They diagnosed the vehicle and recommended their repairs which was approximately 5k in cost. I picked the vehicle up, and the truck is doing the exact same thing (and pulling the exact same codes). Low fuel pressure and shutting down pulling loads. I take the vehicle back and they re-diagnose it and recommend another round of parts and diagnostic fees of around 5k. I talked to Corey about my concern of the mis diagnosing of my vehicle. I understand that the truck doesn’t tell him exactly what the issue might be. I asked if he could give me some kind of a break on the diagnosing fees. (Another $360 to look at it a second time for the same issue and $1,000 to test injectors). He said he couldn’t help me out at all. He even told me he out sourced the injector test and it cost him $600 to do that. I wasn’t looking for any freebie. But since I already had spent $5,000 on his recommendations to fix the issue, with no resolution, maybe he could have done that at cost (or absorbed my second $360 in house diagnostic fee). I think it would have been fair to help me out a little. If he had, I most likely would have told him to go ahead and do it. The last thing I wanted to do was pick up my truck that’s still messed up and start over again with someone else, but that’s what I did. After several times at Hasting Diesel, I just lost confidence/faith. I run a business too, and I don’t operate my business like Corey does. He just didn’t seem to care. I am disappointed in the outcome and won’t go back to them.

Did exceptional work on my 01 7.3
Ford dealer ship wanted to pull the motor to replace both oil pumps yo fix it
Took it to hastings and they stated it was only injectors. Had them put new injectors in the truck and fired right up. Can't give them enough credit for being top notch shop and knowing their stuff on diesel engines.

Great Diesel Shop out here in New Braunfels. Has a small group of guys but all very knowledgeable and well organized shop. Answer all your questions and wont steer you down the road just to make money, there putting in what's best for these trucks and that's it. If your shopping for the cheapest mechanic in town then go somewhere else, but I trust these guys are doing it right and I am willing to pay for that over having to repair something else down the road.

Had turbo pedestal and water pump replaced. Went to pick up the truck, paid for the service, then when driving home heard a loud air compressor sound as well as truck was at half power. Took it back, talked to the owner about the issue, asked him to fix the problem he caused, he said no and it would cost me more money to "fix it." Do not recommend this place at all as they do NOT stand behind their work. Ended up taking it to another mechanic who fixed the issue (silicone boot wasn't reattached from turbo to intake) in 10 minutes time.

Amazing outfit! Had them install an exhaust on my duramax. Had a fair amount of fitment issues, but they persevered, delivered my truck on time, and on budget. They also serviced my truck. They were able to fit me in on a tight timeline and were priced was plenty fair. Will absolutely do business with them again. Raul was great to deal with and communication was A+.
