Twice this week I have shown up before closing by atleast 30-40 minutes. Both times the doors are locked with no one visibly inside.6pm already is a very early closing time but they seem to close even earlier than that.

I had a pick up schedule for 1pm. When I arrived, there was a table set up. Almost like a check in process where you give your name and a ticket is printed out. Then you take your ticket to the register. Someone goes to the back to get your order and brings it to you. Everything was well organized and packaged nice!

For the second time, I sent my husband in to purchase a butt cut ham and he was sent home with a shank. The first time I complained so much they gave me a free ham. That is not my intention. I just want the employees to give the customer what they order.

When it comes to the perfect ham, you can't go wrong with their products. Always a hit with the family.

Ordered a beautiful half bone in ham. The online ordering process was easy and convenient. You place your order, select a time for pick up and they email and text you when your order is ready. When I picked up the customer service was excellent, very friendly and re-wrapped my ham and offered ice if I was traveling a distance. They have a variety of side dishes and dessert options too. You can stop in and just get a sandwich or catering order too!

Did you know they have sandwiches and pick up meals? I was there for an Easter ham pickup. The store in New Braunfels was a well oiled machine of employees with personalities, big smiles and I used a gift card that expired 7 years ago.No problem. Have a great Easter.I can't wait to get a deli ham sandwich at lunch. Go, see, explore.

Friendly, helpful staff. I'm looking forward to actually enjoying the family time instead of spending it all in the kitchen.

We did not get a ham this year. Instead opted for a honey crusted turkey breast and loved it. Perfect size and had some slices left for sandwiches. It was the moistest best turkey ever. Also had the sweet potato casserole, green bean casserole and apple caramel walnut pie. So simple and delicious.

Ham, turkey, sides, and desserts?! What a day to be alive!Did we pay over $200 for a Christmas meal? Sure did. If you don't want to be in the kitchen all day, it's worth it.All the sides were cooked really well and delicious!

Absolutely the worst service ever…. The girl at the counter completely ignored me and told me to just put my stuff u front…. All she cared about was the paperwork she was working on…. I was the only customer in the entire store…she spent no time in helping me feel welcome while I made my purchase …. As soon as my dad came in she totally blew me off and tried to help him…. Once she realized we were together she began to be a rude and condescending….. it’s obvious that she had no people skills and she does not belong in the Christmas spirit ….The food here is quite pricey and will never be sold at its true potential with garbage workers like her….the manager tried to intervene but at that point it was to late….. the customer service was horrible… never coming here again … no matter how many years I have…

There is nothing I love more than a Honey Baked ham for the holidays. You get what you pay for, and the quality of their hams are top notch. What is not up to par is the consistency of the process to acquire a Honey Baked ham, specifically at the New Braunfels location. In years past, I have been able to walk into the New Braunfels location a few days before a holiday and get a ham, easy peasy. Usually I will go on Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. Last year, I went to the New Braunfels location at Christmas, walked into the store, asked a lady if any hams were available without a reservation, and was told there where plenty. I stood in line for 20 minutes, and when I reached the counter, another lady told me it was reservations only. A bit pissed off, I told the lady behind the counter that I was told at the door reservations were not needed. She seemed not to care, so I left without a ham. I went online to try and reserve one for the following day, to which the website would only left me buy a complete meal. I changed locations to San Antonio and was able to pick a ham up the next day. I went home, emailed corporate, and received an email apologizing for the mix up. Corporate was generous enough to send me a $25 for my inconvenience. Fast forward to this year. At the beginning of November, I went online and tried to reserve a ham at the New Braunfels location. It would only let me buy a bone in ham with a complete meal again. So, I changed the location to the location in San Antonio. Not wanting to drive an hour to San Antonio, I had my wife try to walk in a purchase one at New Braunfels. She walked right in and bought one. I tried to reserve a ham at the beginning of December for Christmas, and again, New Braunfels wanted me to buy the whole meal. Other locations would allow me to just buy the ham. So, three days before Christmas, I walked into the New Braunfels location hopeful for a ham. The lady behind the counter informed me that the bone in ham was for reservations only. Pissed off, I left the store, went to my car, and was able to reserve a ham at the San Antonio location for the next day. New Braunfels had none. Save yourself the trouble from trying to buy a ham here. The staff is useless, and the store is not a consistent performer. Drive the hour to the San Antonio location on Basse Road, and save yourself the trouble. I wish they would close this location and put in something useful, as it ties up useful real estate next to the new Santikos. I don't recommend New Braunfels Honey Baked Ham at all. We had a close call this year with a Christmas with no ham.
