Jamie and the store manager really took care of our issues when our taxes got muddied by a different tax professional from our previous state of residence.
I was very worried for so long that we were going to be in hot water with the state, especially while trying to buy our home here in New Braunfels, but everything turned out great. We will certainly return to this location.

I got to experience doing my taxes with a rep for the first time as an adult. I give all my thanks to Ms. Rita Fisher. She was amazing, made this process not as stressful, and was very willing to explain things to a great extent. Thank you Rita! Everyone Go to Rita. On the unfortunate side, Pamela Rodger’s, I do believe you have the right to free speech. However, That just not justify that you can look a person up and down, judge them based on their appearance, and ask inappropriate questions as to why I don’t like to be called by my birth name. My name is not written in stone. That is the beauty of our free country.
On another hand, witnessing you speak to a client with the utmost disrespect was disheartening. You looked him up and down the same as myself. You asked him personal questions, and with no regard of this being in front of his face and in front of other clients in the waiting are. You redirected The client to a representative who is of the same skin color. You denied him service because you assumed he didn’t understand english from a skin color and an accent. To add to this, you alienated him and told him to his face “do you understand?/“maybe you can understand if you talk to somebody else/“ why don’t you come around here and talk to her, and you can understand her better.” Saying these things as if she would speak a different language for the client due to matching skin color.Not to mention the disgrace you brought to the company. I really hope that this employee sees this review and feels at least an ounce of shame for something so little as making a secular, sexist, racial and oppressive comment and appearance. Shame on you Pamela. Take this as a customer learning experience. Highly disappointed in your lack of self awareness and common sense.

Comfortable and friendly, accurate filing but fees are astronomical. About 3 times higher than I paid last year and I had only one additional form to file.

This location charges a little over twice as much as other locations because they are a franchise.
Next up, my tax professional had to continually ask the person in the cube next to them questions. The two of them argued in front of me.
This whole experience left me pretty unhappy about the knowledge that I expect my tax expert to have.

We paid 419.00 to have our taxes completed by HR block only to have the IRS tell us the return was wrong . we will not be returning .
