Worst customer service. Every employee that works there including the manager are rude. Never have a smile on their faces. We have been frequent customers at the NB location for 10 years. These past few months, every time I go in, they can never find our account in their system. I have to repeat our phone numbers several times or show them proof of receipt before they say “oh there you are!” They don’t apologize and make it seem like it’s my fault for possibly giving them a wrong number. This location was great when their store manager was Cindy. She was awesome! In other words, do not go to this location. You will leave disappointed.

Amazing customer service! The employees are so helpful and it’s always so easy to get my ring cleaned and inspected. Definitely my favorite jewelry store to shop and visit!

Now that I know this store wouldn’t sell to someone based on their appearance, I will never come back again. #discrimination

Came to New Braunfels location because of inaccurate info at another location.Came in and asked for my rings to be inspected and to ask questions and consider another band. Had to repeat my phone number for account 4 times but was happy to do so. The lady asked me to put in an email address because the phone number wasn’t working.I asked if I could type in my phone number, because I’m almost a decade it has never not worked. I typed it in. It worked. When she turned the tablet around, she smiled and said, “Oh it’s because you said the wrong number. You said 1 instead of 9.”I told her I said the number correctly all 4 times. She made a tight-lipped face that prompted me to ask for my $10,000 in diamonds rings right back from her.No way am I trusting you with my most precious and sentimental possession if you are blaming me for a menial error you made at the outset that I would have had no issues with if you just said, “oh I must not have heard correctly” or something of the sort. Or even not saying anything about it and moving on wouldn’t have bothered me.Not a way to win over clients. All I want is a place that will give accurate information and have decent customer service. Reconsidering any further purchases from this chain if the next place I try doesn’t work out. ?Saw others’ reviews and it seems blaming others is typical for this place. We won’t be back.

My hubby has bought all my jewelry at Kay’s. We were even card holders there. They have always fixed any piece that needed it as they honored their work. I was quoted more to fix it than replace it. Very disappointed, they are usually very helpful and attentive. Not this store!

Five star review. I came in today with two very special necklaces incredibly tangled together and Eliana and Kylie helped remedy and delivered above and beyond customer service. They were both very personal and sweet while I waited for them to be de-tangled. I will definitely be back for my next jewelry need! Thank you ladies for top notch customer service!!

I broke a prong on my wedding ring and took it in they quoted me very high at $289 for a broken prong and to re-dip my white gold, but it was my wedding ring so I agreed. I had another ring that needed a prong and asked how much to fix this and they advised that they would have to send it out for an estimate. (uh no thanks) They sent my wedding ring out early Nov. they received it back 3 weeks later called and said it was not up to their standards and sent it back out and that it would be a week or so. A month yes a month later no email or call so I walked in and spoke to an associate. I advised I never received an email so I was checking on my ring. She rudely said emails are sent out automatically it was in my junk mail. I never delete mail and politely said no it was not... she rudely said well you have your ring now. I looked at my ring and almost cried and stated this looks horrible. The diamond is crooked and the prong is a big ball much larger than the others. I took my ring over to HEB jeweler and he fixed it for $32 yes $32. It now looks like my original ring and beautiful. A jeweler that is not able to fix a prong on a ring is like an accountant that is not able to add. I will never purchase or have any jewelry repaired there ever again, which is sad since I am in the market for an anniversary band. So disappointed.

I am confused. Wife and I our frequent customers. Note to the public. You have to wait in line, busy employees probably will not answer on the first ring ( more than likely helping my wife or myself spend well invested money), unlike the amazing selection and quality at Kay’s it seems most are use bargain online shopping from the faceless drones who treat you like a number. Now I know you think the customer is always right. Go somewhere else and believe it or not. Your mom maybe the only one. Who thinks you are special she bought your present from Kay’s.

Absolutely TERRIBLE TERRIBLE service. I recently just moved to the area and was so excited to see I had a Kay jewlers near me at the creekside plaza, especially since my ring was due for an Inspection and cleaning. Normally when I take my ring in to have it rhodium dipped and deep cleaned i m sad to leave ot because I hate going two weeks without my wedding ring. But this time walking into the kayd at creekside i was more than just a lil sad. I was uncomfortable and weary. I did not feel like I was leaving my ring in good hands. The employee who helped was unprofessional and frankly rude. I worked for kay jewlers before for two years, so I know how we were expected to behave and treat customers. It has been more than 2 weeks since I left my ring to be cleaned and they had yet to call me. My ring was suppose to be back 2 day ago. I take it upon my self to call them to where my ring is and they refuse to answer the phone. There are times when the phone will ring 2 times before it hangs up and other times it will ring 6 or 7 timea. Therefor I know someone is deliberately ignoring the phone call. Them I come home and attempt to call the store again from my husband's phone and they finally answer. Come to find out, once they finally answered that my ring had been back in the store but no one bothered to contact me to tell me. This is very unprofessional and will never be stepping foot in this particular store again .

I drove from san antonio to new braunfels to get a watch battery replaced. I had purchased a lifetime watch battery replacement plan from kay's. First i tried the kay's location at the forum. Lady told me to leave my watch for three days. It doesn't take that long so i went to new braunfels location.lady tinkers with my watch for a few minutes and says can't get the back off sorry and then that was it. Says i know a guy at heb that will do it for 10 bucks. I paid something like 16 dollars for a lifetime battery replacement. That doesn't make sense. Went home got a pairing knife the back came off just like that. Got a battery from walmart and replaced myself. Don't buy a battery replacement from kay's.i took the paper i had kept for proof of lifetime replacement and tore it up and threw it at the door. Bottom line if you're not buying a 9000.00 dollar ring they don't have time for you.
