I love my cell phone service but I wish I had went to a different store. The guy added a charge to my account that I did not request or want. I actually said no when he asked if I wanted it. But by the time I got home I had gotten a text message that said my monthly bill was going to be $20 more. So I had to take more time to contact customer service to have it removed. I also got a new phone. The upgrade price was $149 I actually almost $200 when I asked for the receipt he told me the receipt printer was not working but that I would get a text receipt. Never happened. I won't ever go back to that store again for any reason.

They ok by me.I went in one day (about 2 months ago), there was one female employee that seemed rather too unfriendly. I didn't even Thank her when I left... Soooo.

Don't trust this metro! The woman working lied to me told me my phone wasn't compatible not to change my service to my new device. She did try as hard as she could to sell me phones they had there after that for commission. Metro is a BYOD bring your own device. Untrustworthy! I went to the other location down the way in New Braunfels they switched my service with no problems and didn't try to sell me people honest people there. Good luck skip this metro !

Went in to get 1 line activated for my daughter and was talked into a promotion they had for 4 lines plus free phones for what was half the monthly price we were paying for a competitor. We decided to port 2 numbers from the competitor and change another line over to make the 4 lines. In the process of porting the 2 numbers, the sales attendant input some information incorrectly into the computer resulting in us waiting almost 4 hours to get set up and customers forming a line behind us getting quite frustrated. If that wasn't enough of a headache, we started realizing the next day that unless we were on wifi, we had no service or data anywhere we went. My husband travels between round Rock and South San antonio for work and was not getting any service throughout any of those areas. We contacted customer care and they claimed to have corrected this issue for us. While it improved slightly, we still were not getting very good service off of wifi and calls were cutting out and dropping. My husband contacted customer care again within a few days to tell them we wanted to cancel our service with them and switch back to our previous provider. He was hung up on 7 times in a row attempting to do this. We ended up having to go into the store the next day to try and get our service switched back and were told they couldn't do anything about it or refund our money or give us a credit. In the end we were able to contact our previous provider and they were able to get our numbers ported back to them with some help from their own support team. We then were able to keep metro's customer care on the phone long enough with our previous plan to have them cancel our service with them. Before that call was even complete, we started getting multiple texts from metro telling us we owe them all these extra charges "immediately" totaling hundreds of dollars. I would not recommend using metro at all! Unless you go to a corporate office, you are dealing with independent franchise stores, all of which have their own rules and policies with tons of fine print and fees and the customer service is beyond terrible. Bottom line...you get what you pay for...and then get charged tons of hidden fees later.
