Very professional auction company. I received my items quickly from their online auction and the cost of shipping was refreshingly reasonable. I highly recommend New Braunfels Auction Co.

The owner of this company is arrogant flamboyant and rude. On more than one occasion he has been rude to several people in my company when attending these sales. He forgets that the only reason why he is in business is BECAUSE of the people he so blatantly disrespects. Also the woman with the glasses at the cash register can’t tell the difference between her numbers and letters so be careful or she will fudge the numbers in their favor.

'Vet' had no problems disrespecting 98 yr old WWII Vets Estate!!! ??? Made many promises, kept few. I PROVIDED PIX AND DESCRIPTIONS OF ITEMS I WAS MOST INTERESTED IN HAVING PRICED ASAP- never priced!!Once they enter home it's theirs and you, your personal items, existence are in eviction process! Items get moved to three different places and without required accessories before they're deemed unusable orunsaleable.Sales team 'bought' items before Sale started-priced for their comfort. No care is taken on fragile items.NO INTEGRITY OR HONOROwner Gary's words, actions, attitude showed TOTAL disrespect for Client. NO SHOW NO CALL on his own scheduling, and attempted threats if client didn't reschedule or meet HIS demands.Setup and scheduling was setup twice, first time Feb 14th. Then Co. Flaked. 2nd setup was March 7th, then 2nd NO SHOW NO CALL on day of "pricing"INSISTED SALE COULD CONTINUE WITHOUT HIGH$ ITEMS BEING PREPRICED??? Ignoring that the Pix were provided to Susan 3 mos prior!!! Threats to start Sale or pickup tables 7 am Thursday!!!Customers showed day of Sale but not Gary or his team.ADDED EXTREME STRESS DURING GRIEF OF LOSING LOVED ONE AND FAMILY HOME.GIVES 'VET'S A BAD NAME!!!!Demanded 6 Tables back ASAP but STILL can't schedule pickup??

In a town with many choices for antique stores and auction houses, this company has chosen to represent the shady and dishonest side of the spectrum. I have been in the store on Hwy 46, attended estate sales run by this company and most recently participated in an online only auction. Although I did win a few lots, a couple lots were misrepresented and misleading. I have used online only auctions in the past and I do understand that when you bid and win items, they are sold as is and where is, and it is true the responsibility lies with the buyer. When you see the words "good condition "you expect items to be just that! After contacting the company, I realized that Gary has trained his employees in his own mold, and they behave as rudely and dishonestly as he does. I will and recommend that you also choose one of the many other options available in New Braunfels and other Texas cities to find items for collection or resale, and do not spend your money here nor recommend this company to others in your circle of friends and associates.

I bought an automatic gate opener (more than $200) from one of Gary's estate sales by New Braunfels Auction in Schoentahl Ranch on the outskirts of New Braunfels. It was sold as "with the original box" and operative. It was neither. It was the non operative, automatic gate opener that had been removed and replaced. Gary's people had packed it back in the box and sold it as working. He would not allow it to be returned for a refund. A year or two later, Gary showed up at my home wanting to do the sale I was planning. I reminded him of the gate opener I was sold. He said nothing more than a "hm," then proceeded to hard sell me on his company doing my sale. He even called me a few days later to ask me again. Pretty brassy, imo. He could've offered a credit on my estate sale to make up for the bad purchase on the gate opener at the other sale, but he didn't. My answer was NO to him doing a sale for me. It was a matter of integrity and principle. Selling bad merchandise and refusing to be accountable for it made me doubt his integrity and seriously question what he would do if he had full access to my own property and possessions. I doubt if he ever put it together that his failure to make good on a bad sale of $200+ cost him potentially thousands of dollars in the loss of another sale.

They ask stupid prices so the items won't sell, then slide it on over to their thrift store... I mean auction store... they do not aim to help families, but only themselves

This company posted an estate sale online and on Facebook. Both posts said to contact the company with any issues or questions. I called asking for help locating an item that was visible in their video but not in their pictures. I have never been talked to so rudely as I was by the woman answering the phone THEY POSTED ONLINE FOR QUESTIONS. . The woman treated me as if it were a huge imposition to actually SELL me something. I explained to her that I was in the hospital, and couldn't go myself. And that I was familiar with both of the items. After she continually cut me off I decided as much as I would love to have the items, it was not worth dealing with her. Definitely not cut out for customer service. Avoid these people.

This in my opinion is not a real auction. This guy Gary ruined Estate sales in new Braunfels. He took over all the estate sales in New Braunfels. He doesn’t really have to sell EVERYTHING in 5 days. If it doesn’t sell he buys it real cheap and takes it all to giant warehouses like this and sells it and makes millions$$$. Ruined real auctions and estate sales around here. No good deals

3rd time going to their estate sale, way over priced for used items. Not worth going. The employees are rude. 1st 2 times the lady behind the register was rude towards me and the person in front of me. This time she was nice. There was another woman who followed these 2 customers to a room and stood in the doorway acting like they were under surveillance. I asked if I could get by she just stood there and said go ahead . Honestly there are a few more companies that 1 have great prices, 2 nice and friendly and 3 just an all around better company that I would like to support. Now I know this company's name and I'll make sure to look at who's hosting the estate sale before I spend gas and time to go.

This man took advantage of my elderly Mother. He came and took (4000+ sqft home) all my mothers antiques. He payed her less than a $1000.He completely took advantage of her. We will be contacting better business bureau and a good attorney. The paperwork did not reflect what was taken. Good thing is we have it all on tape. Dont trust this company.

I won a few items online and has the worst trouble trying to figure out how to get them back to San Antonio because one item in particular was a heavy China hutch for a steal. Gary and his staff were so understanding and held the item at their location past the auction pickup date with no problem. I arrived Gary himself and his staff were all so kind and loaded it all for me again with no hesitation and all were very courteous. I can't thank them enough for being so understanding during the whole mess I was in. I browsed the amazing store for a good minute but was pressed for time so I couldn't shop lol but the treasures there are amazing. I will def return and again can't thank Gary and his staff for being so amazingly kind with smiling facing while I was worrying for nothing. Gary your a very kind man and I will be returning again . We hired Gary Rogers / New Braunfels Auction Company to conduct an estate sale. The day before the estate sale, Gary's team brought over so much stuff from prior estate sales that our items were over-shadowed by all of the extra stuff. Our nice house served as a showroom to sell other people's belongings. This practice is not acceptable as we had plenty of items to conduct a stand-alone estate sale. After the sale, Gary removed the unsold items and we much later received only a fraction of what we expected from the items sold at the estate sale and items removed. I highly recommend you hire another company to manage your estate sale.
