I recently had an amazing experience at PetSmart while purchasing a 125-gallon aquarium, and I can't thank the staff enough! Four employees, along with my husband and me, worked together seamlessly to pick out and load the aquarium without any hesitation. Their teamwork was impressive!
Not only did they assist with the physical setup, but they also offered valuable advice on the right chemicals to use for preparing the new tank. Their tips for transitioning my fish to the new environment were incredibly helpful and gave me confidence in the process.
Overall, the staff at PetSmart went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed for my new aquarium. I highly recommend the North New Braunfels TX store to anyone in the area!

The New Braunfels location is top notch. Staff is very friendly and helpful. I'll drive the extra miles to come here rather than go to the San Marcos store, which is closer.

Customer service is horrible. Had a DoorDash delivery to store. At minimum 4 store employees standing around (1H 15m) prior to opening. Yes they are not open. I asked girl if I could purchase 12 crickets as my dash is done and it would save me a trip to town later. I said I have cash and don’t need the change. Guy came out of office and said “We don’t open until 9:00, sorry bout yer luck”.
Needless to say not impressed in the least. Could have been handled a bit more tactful. Should have made the sale, and taken care of customer. Rather acted like an ass. I will not make any purchases at this particular store ever again.

I purchased 6 female beta fish and they're not as friendly as I expected, but they're not super aggressive with each other that I need to separate them.
Got a Tuffy toy for my XL female boxer and she ripped it apart. No need to buy expensive dog toys, if they want to rip it up, they'll find a way.

5 stars for the employees helping in the fish department! We love taking care of our fish tank at home. Each time we come here, the employees are friendly and so helpful. Cats, mice, guinea pigs, birds, lizards, aquatic frogs, snails, and turtles are also available to own.

The grooming department is amazing enjoy coming here always have a great experience. Everyone is always so nice and helpful. They treat my boy great when he gets his nails trimmed. Great prices on dog food and other products.

The 30th of November, I went in to the New Braunfels store because online it showed some dog medicine available. No one greeted me, much less offered to help me find it. I asked the girl the ban field counter, who was looking on her phone intently as to avoid eye contact, where I could find it. She looked annoyed that I bothered her and rudely replied it would be on the last isle if they even had it. I told her my dog was sick and could she recommend anything? She just said no. WOW. I was blown away by the staffs lack of customer service. This is why I use chewy.

Nice staff but they don’t carry anything for hedgehogs. I have to go somewhere else.
