I belonged here for about 10 months and had to sadly cancel my membership due to their discriminatory dress-code policy which allows men to wear shorts to class but not women. They have signs posted all over the studio which cite that the pants-only rule is to keep the studio "sanitary," however, it was just communicated to me by one of the owners that it's actually about modesty. (What year is it?) Overall, the classes were fun and I saw results (in combination with Peloton/walking/intermittent fasting), but would not recommend it if you are looking to make friends. They host HH often or serve mimosas on the weekend to encourage socialization, but it's pretty shallow and most of the women (with a few exceptions) extremely clicque-y as most of the women have all been attending for 7+ years together. So yeah, if you want a decent low-impact workout for $170/mo, and don't mind looking over and seeing a man be able to wear attire that is prohibited to you, then this is the place for you!

I love Pure Barre! I love the exercises and truly enjoy showing up to the classes each week. I’ve already noticed an increase in my core and arm strength since starting. The women are all very friendly, and the instructors are great! I highly recommend.

Pure Barre is not for me BUT everyone was so encouraging and supportive that I would recommend you give it a try for yourself.

Classes were decent. Good way to kickstart getting back into my workout regimen. Although, I was very disappointed in the customer service aspect of this business and the general manager is not very kind or understanding. The company policies make it difficult to cancel your membership at a desirable time. I had to forfeit 7 classes (worth a total of $140) because I did not cancel within a small window period much in advance. I would have most likely been a returning customer, but because they were rude and not the least bit accommodating, I will not be returning.

Pure Barre is a must try place it is a little pricey but worth it because it works every part of your body. As soon as I walked in I was welcome in and from there it just kept getting better. Working ever part in your body is sometimes hard to get in classes but here it was fit all in to one work out. You will feel a little soar after leaving I mean I did. It's nice because after you work out you can enjoy a cup of tea on your way out . The instructor is amazing so helpful and encouraging explaining everything without me feeling like I was lost. Thanks Ute barre for the great experience.

I signed up for a free introductory class not knowing that it would mean they would call me night and day while I was sleeping, grocery shopping, working, etc, and refused to allow me to get back with them on my own time schedule. Customer service sucks.

I have been attending Pure Barre classes since 2018 and Pure Barre New Braunfels since late 2020. It is a great workout and you always enjoy positivity and motivation from staff and other members.

I was just turned away from attending the introductory class this morning at 10:30. My mother is a local new Braunfels, my sister lives in San Antonio. I live part-time in Utah and part-time in Texas. I was looking for a class that my mother and I could both simultaneously participate in. I came to do a discovery class to see if this would be amenable exercises for her fitness abilities. However I wasn't given the opportunity to fully explain myself. The woman at the front was abrupt and not very kindly to my inquiries. It was embarrassing and I'm sorry to say that I was turned away. I would have been happy to pay a fee for the class. These classes would've been a boon for us both. Not only did you leave a poor impression, you lost 2-3 potential customers (myself, mom and my sister). The instructors seemed very sweet and friendly- and I don't want this review to negatively impact them - however this situation was managed poorly. By leaving this review on Yelp and Google , I'm hoping it will encourage the staff to have a positive conversation on how to open your doors for all new comers, stimulate business and foster healthy activities in the community. Also, perhaps how to handle nervous (because I was late) customers that are brand new to the area and unfamiliar with the culture. **please note, the instructors seemed completely rad and I'm sorry to not work with them. **

BEWARE... if you do not cancel correctly they will continue to charge your account. I contacted them through their main website to cancel my subscription and I guess that was incorrect so they continued to collect my money. 3 months of over $119.00 they kept collecting. When I tried to get a refund they explained to me, sorry but I didn't cancel correctly.
