Lisa did beautiful work custom creating a new window shade for my home. She used a challenging faux leather fabric I brought to her gave me exactly the look I was trying to create! Not only that, she did it very quickly and installed it perfectly. When I get ready for more window treatments in my newly-renovated home, I will definitely ask Lisa to do them!

Recently, I was working with a client for whom I needed slipcovers for her dining chairs. There are many options one can find online, but they tend to be basic.I found Lisa by chance, and called to see if slipcovers were something she could do. While slipcovers are not part of her normal trade, she gamely took on my project.Lisa’s work is of the highest quality. She created beautiful covers for my client’s chairs. With a dressmaker’s skill, Lisa combined fabrics to give my covers a detailed and perfect finish.I highly recommend Lisa’s work. Not only was she extremely professional, but she was also enormously kind and fun. I appreciate her skill and artistry.

I am so pleased with my kitchen and dining room curtains from Something Sew Unique! When I first talked to Lisa, I had a basic color scheme but no real idea of what I wanted my curtains to look like. Lisa was able to look at my space, ask me a few questions, and come up with the perfect design! She used a great software to show me a mock-up of the design which helped me visualize the finished product. The curtain were installed today and I could not be more pleased. They are beautiful!

Here are my photos from project done by this company. Was told wrong hardware came in but that wrong hardware was brought to the install? Took back to shop and was going to reorder. Job was 100% paid for but I did not get hardware or refund of $600+ paid for hardware I did not get. One panel tension is short and bunches. Panel hook disconnected. Pull rod fell off.

I had installed about two months ago. Very expensive and I expected better quality. See photos of defects that are appearing. I also never received hardware I paid for nor return of my money. Was told wrong hardware came in when they were doing install. The next day I called Lisa to say how disappointed I was with the drapes and she said she would cancel the hardware order but I did not get hardware or a refund. Invoice said hardware was 675$

We largely support small and local businesses. When the need for patio drapes to block Western exposure Texas afternoon sun became a requirement, we searched and found Something Sew Unique. It was great working with Lisa. Although we had some idea of the look we wanted, she presented us with several options not previously considered. She has hundreds, if not thousands, of samples to view and we found the perfect drape for us. She also recommended hardware, including track and tie-backs, to meet our rustic décor. Lisa did a fantastic job designing and installing shades for our arched kitchen windows! She is very professional and a pleasure to work with.
