Holy Smokes!! Found my new salon. And WOW, upon entry into the beautiful salon I was greeted by the friendly receptionist and was offered a drink. I arrived early and had time to look at the cute accessories and gifts they have for sale. My hair stylist, Corbin, greeted me and brought me back to chair. He asked what I was looking for and asked if I had pictures to show him, and I did. Then the PAMPERING session began with amazing aroma therapy, followed by scalp/neck/shoulder massage, and then to the shampoo area, where I almost fell asleep. He was also careful not to disturb the stitches on my forehead scalp (from a cyst removal). That whole experience was much needed relaxation. Then Corbin delivered the cut I was looking for and his assistant, Lila, delivered on the blowdry/style. Chloe helped with scheduling my next appointments and gathering the products that I wanted to purchase. I'm looking forward to my color experience at my next appt! All of the Foundry Team members I came in contact with have beautiful spirits and provided a warm and welcoming environment. Thank you for a great experience Foundry Salon!! See you soon!

Jay jay was the absolute sweetest and she’s so talented!! Gave me exactly what I wanted and still left me with long hair. She gave beautiful bangs. I feel like a new person my hair is so soft now! I will definitely be back. Amazing service she truly just listens to your needs and gives you exactly what you want ❤️.

I’ve been here a handful of times since moving to New Braunfels and I’ve have both really great experiences and recently an okay experience.
I usually go to a specific stylist but she wasn’t available so I was referred to another stylist.
I think the pricing is reasonable for the service, I had great haircuts and coloring from here but recently last week I came in for a simple trim and a lot more hair was cut off than I asked for. I specifically asked to try to keep as much of the length (my hair is down to my waistline), to go a little shorter on my layers, just a basic trim. I left the salon with my hair now halfway up my back. At first it was hard to tell by the way it was styled and blown out but once home and showered my hair is SO short. As a woman who always has her hair long, always gets trims and has never had a bad experience it was upsetting to get home and be disappointed with the way it turned out and now wishing for my hair to grow back.

Anyone who us military knows that one of the absolute WORST things about a PCS move is finding a new stylist. After a bad haircut experience when I first got here I did some research and found The Foundry Salon who had great reviews. I love that theyre level based, which helps with a budget. Got a same day appointment with Yolanda and as soon as I sat in the chair and we started talking I knew I had found my stylist! She asked multiple questions about the style I wanted as well as along the way to make sure we were on the same page. Haircut turned out absolutely amazing and I finally feel like myself again! If you end up in her chair, you'll be in great hands!

Expected it to be $47, after the service was told because her hair was thick and curly it would be an up charge. Cost over $80
Requested it was styled Curly, was styled straight
Requested whispy bangs, cut had very heavy bangs
8 year old was happy with the result so I didn’t bring up issues in the salon to avoid hurting my Daughters feelings.
Wasn’t what was requested or shown examples of, wasn’t styled as wanted and was almost double the cost. Three stars because she was very good with my daughter and made the experience positive for her.

I LOVE MY HAIR SO MUCH. It was very hard for me to go from rich brown to this purple, but i’m so glad i did. She kept my length and evened out my all over the place hair and just was so friendly to me. Bri, thank you again :)

BK gave me the coolest alternative mullet hands down the best I’ve had. I’ve had this cut done three times by two different stylists, but no one comes close to BK’s eye for detail and precision. I don’t live locally, but I’ll absolutely be making the trip back just to have her cut my hair again. Totally worth it!

I've been coming to The Foundry for years, and it’s truly more than just a salon—it’s Hairapy! The staff are always welcoming and friendly, making every visit feel like a treat. The stylists are talented, attentive, and consistently leave me feeling refreshed and confident.
Bonus points for the best coffee around and a great location. I’d travel any distance for my dose of Foundry magic. Highly recommend!

After one tragic haircut in Austin followed by an even worse haircut in Austin, my only remaining option was a pixie cut. I called the Foundry and explained the situation, said I looked like a teenage boy and wanted a short FEMININE cut and asked who on the staff they would recommend.
Everyone was lovely and I don't want to name the stylist, but women with short hair need to show up with multiple pictures. Maybe a video montage. One will not do. I brought a photo of Emma Stone's classic pixie and mentioned Mia Farrow's from the 70s.n
I came out looking like I'd either joined the military or was recovering from chemo. I can see an alarming amount of my scalp. The stylist gave me a cut SHE would like, not one I would like. It isn't growing in well, but I'm nearly bald now.
When something goes wrong with short hair, you are stuck. I tried to tell myself it was okay, I could accept it, but I am not engaging with the community (I just moved) because this is not the first impression I want to give.
I do not look like me, and it will take YEARS to have hair again. If it weren't so hot I would consider wigs. Finally, given that I have almost no hair anymore, there's no point in calling the salon to ask them to fix it. There is barely enough on top to comb.
It seems ridiculous, but I have covered the mirrors in my house. I feel out of sorts, not at all like myself. When I meet people, I feel the need to explain why I'm bald.
I really did say I wanted a feminine cut. I really did bring this picture with me. Somehow I ended up looking like a jarhead. I'll be in hiding for the remainder of the summer.
