DO NOT RENT A STORAGE UNIT FROM HERE. IF I COULD GIVE A O I WOULD. My husband and I recently moved to Texas and needed a storage unit. We also just had a baby and baby furniture we needed to store until we could move into our home. After keeping our things there for almost 6 months we found that they have a serious PEST issue and now we've lost THOUSANDS of dollars in furniture for our new home and new baby. This terrible place has set us back by so much money. AFTER SAVING DURING MY ENTIRE PREGNANCY. Money that we could've used to buy our baby diapers or essentials for our new home. We found a DEAD RAT stinking up our storage unit. Not only a DEAD RAT. But DEAD RAT URINE. BODILY FLUIDS AND FECES have seeped into our brand new couch. And our boxes in the unit. Along with finding a DEAD RAT.
There is an infestation of SPIDERS. we also found dead MAGOT LARVE all over our things. We are a young family of 3 just starting our lives and our family and friends helped us tremendously to get that furniture for our baby and now this place has set us back so far. Our babies clothes, bed and toys have been contaminated and I can't even begin on the loss of our personal items. DO NOT RENT HERE IF YOUR THINGS ARE VALUABLE TO YOU. Oh and before anyone asks
NO THERES NO FOOD OR ANYTHING THAT SHOULD ATTRACT A RAT WITHIN OUR UNIT. OH AND YOU'LL BE LUCKY TO COME HERE AND MAKE PAYMENTS IF YOU CAN CATCH THEM

They have steadily raised my rent for the last year. No notice at all. Been with them since 2022. My unit never looked like the photos. Mine was rusty and the roof was falling in. These people are just looking for a paycheck.

I had my storage since July. I took my lock off a week ago and was making trips to get my things. The ONLY person who knew about my locker was the store employee. There are cameras in the building right next to my storage and the only people who can get in and out must have a code to do so. Someone went through my things and stole so much of my stuff. I could literally cry. This is NOT fair. The only person who knew specifically about my storage is that female employee. Now I can’t get anyone on the phone. I need someone to call me ASAP!

If i could give zero stars I would.
I rented a storage building Tuesday but wasn't using it until today Friday sept 26th I show up with my truck loaded down to a card on the door I was told by front office to move it I open the door to find trash I go to the front office and told the lady I wasnt cleaning someone else's mess she said that the walls of the storage building dont touch the concrete so it happens often im like hmm so I go outside call my dad and hes like absolutely not go get my money back I go inside tell her I want my money and shes like no so yeah it gets heated I leave and go down the road to a new storage box storage Best decision ever the manager did contact me and gave me the money back but I wouldnt use this place

Rats!!! So many rats and the air conditioning barley works. No one ever in the office and the gate code is soooooooo long. If you like your stuff go somewhere else.

I have no idea how this place has such a good rating! I rented a unit here for about a year. When I came to get my items, they had been infested with rats! My items were ruined! I filed a claim with the insurance company and the damn insurance company can’t even get a reply from them! They never answer the phone! Their office hours keeps changing and you can’t get in contact with ANYONE!

Great experience with site manager and C/S lines. Even suggested to rent online to obtain the discounts! C/S talked me through the size needed. Office and facility clean. I do want it noted that there are 2 entrances. The one I had to use, down the road next to main entrance, down a ways to the left to enter back of facility.

I'll start by saying the staff have always been helpful and friendly. My complaint is that I have been a client for 11 months and Storage King has increased my rent twice over 10 months - a total of 21.65% increase in 10 months. Be aware. Not at all happy...

Easy and simple to rent from Storage Kings New Caney TX location and the managers customer service was very professional and the 50% off for 2 months was the best deal in town. If you need a storage check them out.
