Apparently when buying a hermit crab at this location getting an additional shell is not the policy, but they will give you a lecture even after learning that you have done your research. Amazing how the PetSmart in the woodlands not only offers an additional shell but is helpful and informative on how to care for your pet. I'll drive the extra 30 minutes to not be treated like that. Will not be returning.

I’ve been shopping at this location for years now. There has always been this young man in the fish dept that bred betta fish. He was very knowledgeable and helpful and the entire fish dept thrived with him there. This isn’t a one-off review. The past 3-5 times I have ventured into this location every single betta is sick or dying. Today- the display had about 25 betta fish. Maybe 5 are even in remotely decent health. I counted 10 dead ones on display for sale. Several with dropsy and other scale/fin related sicknesses. I’ve trusted this store and this department in particular for a long time now. Walked out today without buying any of the things I needed, and went on to Petco in Kingwood. Will never be back. So so sad.

Took my cocker spaniel in for a bath and asked them to trim her ears. We were just in town for a visit. I think the staff is young and also either inexperienced or lazy with the outcome. Disappointed but her ears will come back but have never seen anything like it they shaved her ears saying they were so matted they couldn’t do anything else. Not true she’s regularly groomed and have never had any groomer do such a crazy thing. Will not go back next time we are in town.

Kweisi the groomer should not work with animals. This location is Dirty, groomers are inexperience, unprofessional, your dog is going to come out worst than how they went in. If you love your dog stay away from this location. Groomer Kweisi is the worst, He skinned my dog so bad the manager had to refund the entire service. My poor dog! If I could give less than a star I would!

This was a great place to go. It was one of the first times my german shepherd has been out and about in a public store, but had to pick up treats for teaining, and she was skiddish and anxious. We made sure to go when they opened to avoid a larger crowd.
The cashier was more than patient with her and helped me find what I need in the process.

We took out 10 month old in for training with Ms. Julie. He’s a large breed, so naturally he’s strong. Aside from learning how to implement basic commands, she taught us effective ways to walk him without having to worry about him pulling. Another thing we learned was understanding his body language and how to proceed according to it. There is so much more when it comes to the behavior and well being of a dog, that without the proper training one can struggle. We do not worry about him running out the door if it is open, and recall was definitely something that improved 100%.. Overall, he improved tremendously and we did too. We loved the communication pathway Ms. Julie established with us, she listened to all of our concerns and ensured we worked on the ones that were priority to us. She tailored the program to our needs, not only did she provide us with verbal instructions but she gave us print outs as well to read and practice with the exercises at home. We definitely will return to continue with the program with Ms. Julie, once he’s ready for the next stage. Money and time well invested!
